My husband andI have a couple of weddings comming up and in one of them he is suppose to be a groomsman. I feel a little upset/jealous that MY husband will be looking all sexy in his tux and have to walk some other bridesmaid girl down the isle while I sit in the audience alone......is my feeling normal? Will the bridesmaid try to hit on my husband? What do wives do in this situation?

I think it's perfectly normal for you to be a bit upset/jealous. My husband was best man in one wedding and I hated every minute of it. It's just not natural to have to watch your husband spend the evening with another woman. It can create hard feelings if you let it go that far.
In our situation to make matters worse the groom got so drunk at his wedding he passed out cold during the reception.
My husband was then in a situation to entertain the bride for the rest of the reception.
I was truly not happy at all with the entire situation.
Be sure to talk to your husband prior to this wedding and let him know straight up that you have no intentions of hanging out all night watching him entertain a bridesmaid or the bride for that matter. It'll save you a lot of aggravation in the long run.

I would feel a little uneasy as to why is my husband in the wedding party and I am not!
Although, I wouldn't have a problem with him being a groomsman, BUT it depends on the situation, who is the bridesmaid he's going down the aisle with? An ex-girlfriend??
There's a lot of factors to this ... I would take action on this if your too uncomfortable!!

Ok.. funny 2 years ago I will be lik the rest here in the forum..its nothing! its just a walk and a dance. Well i trusted my husband 2 years ago and didnt see any issues at the time. he went alone to the groom party, rehearsal dinner because I was working so i couldnt go and this was one of his best friend getting married with a girl that i met once in a dinner so i was not familiar with her family or friends. short story the bridesmaid was at least 5 years younger than my husband and very flirty i noticed in the wedding day. she was dancing with my husband wiht her hands around his neck (like bride and groom) while everyone else was just doing the regular dance . ( this is the entance dance) The rest of the night they didnt spoke to each other and we dance as normal as married couple. She was pretending being the nices girl around with everyone and i though it was ok. Well...3 months after the wedding night My husbadn told me it was over and he was moving out of the house. today we are divorce! . I didnt know She kept sending "likes" to my husband in facebook after the wedding. they are engage today & about me? I still in shock and barely understand how this happened. 10 years together gone during a wedding party for him being a groomsman. If i ever fall in love again I will totally avoid this. weddings are very intimate and people around the bride and groom feell like they need to be together and be friends in order to keep the bride and groom happy. good luck everyone

I think you need to grow up a little bit or you need to get a new husband, that you can trust, one or the other. Why would a bridesmaid hit on a married man? I sat in the audience and thought my husband looked good up by the altar. It's not like you apart for days, it's a couple of hours for the ceremony, pictures and maybe you won't sit together for dinner, no big deal.

Unless your husband is promiscuous there should be absolutely no way you should feel jealous of him being in a wedding. It's a performance and nothing else. Unless you have some self-esteem issue, enjoy the wedding and bang his brains out later that night, after you two have filled up on champagne.

My husband was in a wedding this past weekend for his old girlfriend! That was tough! But... I made sure to wear a dress that stood out and showed off my assets and my hubby stood by me all night at the reception so the groomsmen weren't checking ME out! If you show any jealousy people will take advantage of that... So, be cool and calm and tell the bridesmaid how lucky she is for walking YOUR man down the aisle!

If I have been Bob, i could ask your self why my spouse nonetheless has the hots for my chum. some thing does not sound good in that marriage. John does not look good the two, sorry to assert. He is primary with of this woman has this overwhelm on him, yet does no longer something to end it. i'm married, yet when I knew another woman replace into after my husband formerly we've been given married, and he replace into nice with it, then that should develop a pink flag. for sure Sarah does not such as you. you do no longer ought to invite her, whether her husband is interior the marriage. you could positioned on the invitation "Bob Lastname" and not her call. My husband and that i had to try this along with his father. We did no longer choose him to deliver somebody we did no longer like, long tale, and had his call in user-friendly terms. in case you think of she is going to wreck your wedding ceremony then you truly've the excellent to no longer invite her.

I hate to say that I think your feelings are normal. I myself do not mind at all if my husband is in the wedding and I'm not. Who the hell wants to buy yet ANOTHER dress? One of my girlfriends had the same issue you are having. It's a bit "high school-ish" to feel like you are feeling don't you think? I hope you get past it, because the bridal party dance will do you in otherwise.

uuuuh...I'm sorry but I believe you have some issues. He's only going to be walking, what??...30 ft with the bridesmaid, not going on a date!! Then once the weddings over, that sexy man is "YOUR" date for the reception!!
