we think that Las Vegas would be totally comfortable and what we have in mind and definitely memorable and unique for us. Now we are planning concerning the financial aspect as to how much it costs to elope in Las Vegas. Any one out there who went to Vegas bought the liscence and had the "ceremony" that could give me a lil bit of info here? Thanx

if you just type in the search bar " Vegas weddings" you will find a ton of sites that show packages for all different chapels. they will also have some that will take you in a limo to the court house to get the license which will cost 55.00 and they are open 24 hrs. check it out you will be surprised at the nice CHEEP weddings you can have. that's what we are planing but we are inviting all the family that would like to go.

For how much time you have, you might as well not "elope" in vegas unless you live in Vegas. For an even cheaper price, which is what you are concerned about, you can simply elope at your local court house. All you would need is to obtain a marriage license - your fiance will have to be there with you and you both will need your ID. It is about a $20 fine (where I live anyways) and you have to get married within 30 days of obtaining the license or it will become trash. (It has an expiration date for who knows why) Then just go call the court house and set up a time. I personally loved my reception/wedding and I think vegas is a, uh, interesting way to get married.

Vegas is popular because the license office is open until midnight 7 days a week and 24 hours on holidays. There are some beautiful places to get married there. Friends of ours got married in Red Rock Canyon. It's still one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever been to. There were 8 of us in this awesome canyon. You can get married in the Valley of Fire, Lake Mead, all of the casinos have wedding packages. There are tons of chapels everywhere. Good Luck
