And if so, do you find them as catty and bitter as I do? I love the idea of giving advice and support. But it seems like most women on there have nothing better to do than try to make others feel bad. ANYway, just wondering if anyone else felt that way.

I've noticed the same thing. I do not use it much because it seems for every real answer you get so much crap. Also, just to look at some of the questions other post, it's more of a chat room. Why waste the space for asking things as stupid as who has a cat or why did my boss.... That's not what I was looking for when I wanted to get a serious answer to my wedding question.

I advertise on The Knot because I'm a Wedding and Wine Consultant but I do tend to think you might be right about the boards. I don't normally check them out but when I have...there have been a lot of bitter women on there posting messages. However, they are not always so bitter and negative - there are actually people out there who want to help.
Personally, I find the articles to be a lot of help as well as the vendor information for each area. All in all, The Knot is a decent place and a really good planning site - a lot better than others I looked at advertising in. well, I do use "the knot" for looking up stuff but I really haven't gone on the message boards, thanks for the tip. I will avoid using that part. I can't stand women like that. they just think that they are better than others.
