why we love to a our partner more before marriage and less after marriage ?

2007-12-03 18:29:38 · 8 answers · asked by Anonymous

We have been married for 10 years. In 2005 I was attacked at work. The guy worked there and he was arrested. After all the test and police and having to tell it over my husband seems different. When I bring it up he changes the subject. He doesn’t hold me on the couch. That was my favorite. He goes to sleep sometimes before I go to bed. Sex has been really scarce at best. I am okay. I have been to counseling. I am fine. We have had marriage counseling with no breakthrough. I have asked him but he doesn’t have an answer. He does call me more at home but the connection isn’t there. Is this common? How can I get him to love me like he used to?

ok...so I just gave birth literally 4 weeks ago I was told by the dr. not to have sex for the next 6 weeks. problem is my husband is starting to feel neglected, even went so far as to say that men who are not married have the best sex and are so much better off than married men! then he went on to say that my ex boyfriend probably never had to deal with me not satisfying him (my exboyfriend).
Is this normal for husbands to feel neglected? Don't get me wrong, four days after delivering I went down on him, actually I've done that about 4 times since delivering.
So what the hell?! Are men that inconsiderate?
He's at a point where he saying he never wants to have sex with me b/c " i'm like most women who have babies; they stop having sex'
What do you suggest I do? It's not like I don't want to have sex, of course I do; I just can't!

My now ex. boyfriend is now questioning me about making his ex's?
number show up on his phone. One night I was calling back to back trying to get him to pick up, and when he did answer he said, I don't know what kind of game you trying by making "N" is ex # show up on his caller ID, with a question mark behind it. Well 2 days ago I was talking to him and his ph kept beeping and he would click over, 1st he said it was his cousin then it was, two telemarketers. Finally he said to me I don't know what you're doing but some kind of way you making my ex's number show up and he hung up on me. Well he called back and said that she told him she hadn't called him. And he accused me of doing something to his phone I didn't. He broke up with me. What does this sound like? How can I make a number show up on his caller ID?

In a society where divorce statistics are higher than most average high school math test scores, many children live in single parent homes, and people bounce from one sexual relationship to another -- a trend sometimes referred to as "Serial Monogamy," -- how can one justifiably condemn polygamy as immoral? In my opinion, "Serial Monogamy" is nothing more than Polygamy without responsibility, accountability or commitment. What do you think?

*** Let me clarify--Polygamy is Marriage between more than two people, so commitment to these people is inherent in the polygamous marriage.***

***"Serial Monogamy" is the act of moving from one monogamous relationship to another -- whether it be one marriage to another, or one sexual relationship to another.***

I am in Tennessee. My husband didn't fully support the kids when he was living here, and then he moved abroad and stopped supporting us at all. Can I do anything? We are still married, though he's now got a girlfriend who he takes on extravagant holidays. I haven't received a penny from him during the last 2 years. If I divorce, will they ask him for back payments for this time? Is there anything else I can do? I don't want to divorce, I was planning to wait until the children left home, but really I have so little money I don't know what to do. I haven't claimed any welfare etc so far but it is hard to manage.

Before we married my husband and i agreed we would have a family. now he says no way, not ever. I am almost 30 and want to start having kids. I do love him, but having children is important to me! I can not have an "accident" since we would need help to get pregnant from a medical professional. I have tried to ask him why he changed his mind, but never get a straight answer? Why do you think this is and what should i do?

but want to get thru this. I know marriage isn't all about sex, but it does help. I have a friendship with a co-worker (platonic), although probably too emotionally invested. He has made it clear he would be a friend with benefits, but he is not pushing. Would I be totally immoral to do this? I would never let my husband know or leave him (unfortunately his prognosis is not good, but he is up and down-cancer), but this is so hard.

and seem settled. I know for a fact that one of them is and has been very unhappy and feels that their life was wasted by staying in the marriage all of this time. I personally have no relationship to speak of with one of them. To this day I feel that I might be a better person if I had better role models as a child.

So just how important is it to stay together for the children?

During i pregnant, my hubby didn't accompany me. He can't give me what i want and i can't feel his love to me. He always sadden me and i really disappointed. I lost my confident on him. Now i hate him so much and i won't have sex with him anymore. Because the pain i felt during i delivered and many other bitter memory i experienced really make me dare to love him anymore. I afraid to be hurt again. My hubby and i do not live together. My baby and I stay at my mum home. My hubby stay in his rent room. I am still studying. His salary not much and insufficient for me and baby. Luckily my mum always support me and baby even though my mum has quit her job and help me take care of my baby to let me continue focus on my study.

Okay, I know when my brother gets married the woman he marries will become my sister-in-law. And when I marry my fiance his brothers will become my brother-in-laws. So, will my brother-in-laws wives become my sister-in-laws? Or will they just be my brother-in-law's wives and nothing more? Also, are there anythings like cousin-in-law and aunt-in-law? Or what about grandmother-in-law, etc. Trying to cover all my bases here, thanks! :)

My wife and I are high school sweethearts and have been through it all. Got married , went through a death, had two kids bought a house . I work lots, bad job, busy industry in our town. Didn't listen to her. She cheated on me with my friend and neighbour (same guy) said she found something I was not giving her. Told me the first night it happened and the did it 2 more times before his wife found out. Moved out of that house got a new one, fixed it up , which took time we were busy. Said I worked too much. She then said she needed closure from this and phoned him to confront him because he lied about everything when she told every body the truth . she then tells me that we are done she doen't love me there are no more butterflies for me just him. She says he has changed because he is out of his bad marrige. She says we are breaking up over our own issues of me not listening, name calling , not being there, working too much. I never got over the hurt the first time 2 yrs ago
