if the mother has health issuses that may be considered. but normally getting married means you leave the mother and father. thats what my bible says.

NO! she needs to cut the umbilical cord soon.
it is her fault for keeping him still under her wing. some moms do that because they have ppd, and it is left untreated, and she gets out of it in time, but she will feel guilty of her feelings at the time, and try to make up for it for the rest of her life. it is already in her subcontinent. and he is just the effect. she is the cause. it will take alot of patience from you to cut the cord. the only thing I had to do was move in a different state. try that. of course, let's not be cruel. if she is in physical need then, it's understandable, to live together, but if that is not the case, buy her a cat, and see you at Christmas!

Marriage and not leaving your mother is an oxymoron. When you marry you leave your parents and no longer cleave to them. You cleave to your spouse and they become your priority. Your parents take second place.

she's not sick, but your boyfriend sure is.

he needs help...

i'd die before i lived with a mother in law, unless she needed special care or something... that would be different.

think twice about this one, girl.

first wht do u mean ... when u say that ur guy cannot leave his mom...
1 ... if it is .. tht he wants his mom to stay with u ... then it might be good n bad... not all mom in laws r bad.. i love my mom in law.. she used to cook for us..n she always supported me... we were like good friends...
if ur mom in law is sick n needs emotional support ... then its just nice to help someone out rather than to leave them lonely... after all she is his mom..
2 .. if u mean that he is a mamma's boy... n is attached to her ... like... dunno wht.... or u mom in law is one crazy women who just wants to step in between .... then may be its a wrong decission to stay together... coz it creates hell lot of problem...
