I don't think it's impolite. My husband does it all the time, then again, he has what's called sexsomnia. It's basically a sleeping disorder where he's completely asleep and has no idea he's doing it, but he sometimes wakes me up 3-8 times a night for sex, or groping. I don't mind at all. :)

Yes. It's very selfish. Wait until morning and initiate sex then. Tell him that you were dying to wake him up in the middle of the night to have sex, but let him sleep instead -- I bet he'll find that really hot, and think you're considerate on top of it. That's how I'd feel.

As I look over the answers, I agree with those that say you should ask your husband ahead of time how he would feel about it. Some people (like me!) have trouble sleeping, and if you woke us up, we'd be up the rest of the night. It's incredibly inconsiderate and unloving to wake up a person with sleeping issues just because you feel an itch. Other people go back to sleep easily and might not mind -- they might prefer having sex. The only way to know is to ask when they are awake. If in doubt, I think the approach in my first paragraph is the best.

I even tend to consider Zoe, she could have a scientific undertaking that desires attending. communicate together with her approximately it and spot if there could be something you're able to do to help her, so she does not get too drained. attempt taking a trip, or in keeping with probability a weekend getaway for only the two considered one of you. provide her a time without work each and every week, an afternoon the place she wont have something to do yet relax, she could be too drained if she works and has to guard the domicile. i'm hoping you get this resolved, being in an unsatisfying dating is terrible.

Depends on how the other person feels about it. Most nights, I'd be irritated, flat out refuse, and then try to fall back asleep because I have to up at 5:30 to get ready ready for work. On a weekend or vacation day, it's different...if I'm in the mood for sex.

This is one of those person and situation specific things.

Depends on what type of day the other spouse had. If you are sure it was not a tiresome day. The answer is no. But good judgment should be used. And everyone should be considered of the other.

Yes, it seems like taking advantage and self-centered. If you both went to bed at the same time, why not initiate sex then?
If they went to bed because they were tired, or you came home late and just want to enjoy yourself without any thought for their feelings, it is proably best to forget it.

I don't think they mind! I have done that before, subtly, like touching him slowly in some places to wake him up subtly..

But then again if you know they are extremely tired..that would not be a good idea!

Depends on what is going on in your day to day life, but usually if done right (guys I'm talking to you), it is nice. To be woke up with no foreplay isn't really fun for me (if you know what I mean).

I have always been thirty of being awaken by my spouse.

So, I am sure if you do it, he will be lucky enough and give you more joy and satiation.

Wish you a good sick.
