First off - let me state that I have NO problem with interracial couples... several of my firends are in interracial marriages....

However - within my group of friends and work-mates, etc... I have noticed a few "stereotypes" to the interracial couple....

I'd like to know if you find this to be true and if so, WHY you think it is true ?

Stereotype #1 -

Most black / white couples are made up of a black man and a white woman. Very rarely is it the other way around - especially if the female is very dark skinned. I have only known ONE black woman / white male couple in my life and the gal was so light she could have easily passed for Hispanic or Med. / Persian pretty easily.

Stereotype #2 -

Most Asian / White couples consist of a white man with an Asian female. Rarely does a white gal end up with an Asian guy. Why ?

Stereotype #3 -

Most Latin / Hispanic / white couples seem to be a L/H male with a w/ gal. L/H gals seem to stay w/ their own race. Why?

We just watched this program on TV. The couples needed to rate their partners in three areas: emotional, appearance and sex, from one to ten. What would your ratings be for your partner?

My husband is in the Navy... He comes home in a couple of months and I would love to plan something special... Maybe a family vacation with our boys also. What would be romantic for the two of us... And something nice for the family (Our twins are 1.5)? I was thinking we could go some place out of town... And great spots you can suggest? I have to make up for not making things easy before he left also... Thanks!

My boyfriend and I have been together for 1.5 years. We're both 20 years old. Last year we spent every moment together, and he'd always write me sweet letters, and I felt like he TRULY cared and loved me. It's different now. He's always busy to hang out. It's not like he's ditching me for friends, but he's busy with work and homework. I suggest we work on it together, but he doesn't want to. I used to feel that I was his #1 priority, and he says I still am, but it doesn't seem like it. When I compare how he was last year to this year it's different. He still calls me everyday and talks with me everyday. He doesn't want to break up at all. I sit around and wait for him to hang out with me, and he says he doesn't want that for me. He says he loves me, but he doesn't need to act desperate. I still do see him everyday. I guess he's just not as "head over heels" as he was. He says part of that is my fault because I get so moody and take him for granted. Is he falling out of love?

I've been with him 8 years. he's 30. I'm 29. I been trying to get him to quit for years. He is one of the most kind hearted people u'd meet but I know for a fact that his we-d addiction is out of hand the root to all our problems. I left him over it numerous times. He is really sweet to me when he's Hi-h, but when he doesn't have it he is miserable and fights with me till he does have it. We have a business but I can only limit the amount of money I give him because he will blow it all and I have to take care of the bills. I also go to school. He has no-body really, but me and I feel quilty and like I'm sinning when I can't give him money. I don't know what to do. He really stresses me out. I can't take it any more. I can't live with feeling quilty all the time. It causes most our problems. It makes him lazy, mean(when he's out of it), he doesn't have his liscense, doesn't have his GED, and only works in our business, but I take care of EVERYTHING. Should I leave him?

These are the lyric. To listen to the song go to http://www.broadjam.com/artists/artistindex.asp?artistID=52975

You took away my innocence
Tried to take away my confidence
Tried to take what made me felt I belong
The beatings, treats, vulgarities
The constant hate you threw at me
You thought it would bring me down - you were so wrong

I'm not a victim, I'm a survivor
I'm not a victim, cause I'm a survivor
I'm not a victim - I am a leader
I'm not a victim - I am a fighter
I'm not a victim - I'm a survivor
And I'm moving strong ahead

Many times I came back to you
You’d say all the games were through
That all things I’m to you is beautiful
Then we’d end up in the place
Where you’d caused me much disgrace
But I've been rescued by the love in me

I will not compromise with what will hurt me
For when you can’t use me, you’ll try to bury me
I'm thankful to the one above
Whose fill my heart with so much love
With this my life is resolved

Ok, I know I'm going to get a bunch of answers that say I'm crazy, but so be it. I just don't get why people make such a big deal about a spouse sleeping with someone else. IMO the lies and deceit are the negatives of an affair. But sheer sex is simply physical.

For instance, if my wife wanted to have sex with some guy, I personally wouldn't care. And that doesn't mean I don't love her, in fact I love her with everything that I am. It's just that sex is just physical. She feels the same way. And yes, women can sex without emotion just as well as men.

For those that say, "then why get married". Simple, I love her and want to grow old with her. I just don't see a problem with her sleeping with someone else.

Ok. Let me first say that my husband and I are extremely old fashioned and believe wives should obey and submit and husbands can discipline and spank thier wives when they feel they need it. So no ABUSE comments or feminist bull!
Ok, so me and my husband were at his friends house and I acted REALLY rude and bitchy the whole time, don't know why, so finally my hubby grabbed my arm, took me inside(we were outside at a bbq) sat on the couch and pulled me over his knee pulled up my skirt and spanked me! I was SOOO embarrased. I mean everyone could hear and the door was wide open so they could see too. He's never spanked me in front of people. I heard people laughing and even the women were saying that I had it coming. But it hurt like heck(well, I guess a spanking should). I mean I KNOW I deserved the spanking, but my question is was he right to handle me there or should he have waited until we got home to deal with me and spank me.

I was with a guy for a while then got pregnant and then about 3 months later he tells me he is married. Well he didnt tell me his wife called me. She moved back to her home town and her husband was in the army so he stayed here. I had the baby about a year ago. He signed his rights over to my husband now. Well his wife wants our kids to know each other and i dont think that is a bad idea. I want my daughter to know her brothers and the truth. It is funny to me because my daughters real father wants to know my little girl but i know the only reason is because she is a girl and he already has 2 boys and he always wanted a little girl. How do i go about letting my baby see her brothers and not her dad. I dont think he has a right or a reason to see my little girl. He was the one that signed over his rights. Am i wrong for the way i am thinking! My husband dont have a problem with my one year old seeing her brothers but he dont want her around her real dad. And i dont blame him!

I'm just wondering if the saying that "once a cheater always a cheater" is true for women as well. So the question is, do you find yourself more likely to cheat again after you have cheated once?

Ugh. My husband routinely complains of having an overdrawn account and no money. Yet his last couple cell phone bills were over 600 dollars. he has a smoking and drinking problem and whenever I call and ask how his day went, he's always nasty because I make sure our bills are paid before he gets a chance to blow his money on stupid stuff. Any suggestions to help save money?

3.5 years and now the relationship is strained again. He goes to counseling for his anger issues, he's nice for a few months, then he's short-fused again and we bicker every night. Yelling at my son for normal activities, fighting with my 9 year old like he's 9 himself, fighting with me for getting mad at him for fighting with my son....constant circle. I'm walking on eggshells again - can't say anything without him getting mad.

I just discovered that my wife has accumulated about $40,000 in debt, which she had been hiding from me. I was tipped off to take a closer look at things, when some of our bills were not getting paid, like the house payment (She always mails the bills from her office). When I confronted her she came clean, but she handed me a stack off bills she never mailed....the checks I wrote out were still in the envelopes. I drained our saving trying to get caught up on the bills. I am so pissed.
She refuses to tell me what and where all the money went.
