My husband is giving me the silent treatment; no conversation, no sex, nothing. He says the famous line "it's not you, it's me," & that he's just really stressed lately (new job, moved to another state). The problem is he has started frequenting a strip club and although he has not cheated on me he say's he is going there to have a few drinks, and relieve stress. He told me I could go with him (to see for myself that there is nothing going on), but I do not have anyone to watch our child. I believe that he does not want to cheat on me now as we moved here for a fresh start, but he has in the past. We have also been through marriage counseling which really did nothing for us. How can I trust him again because we truly do not want divorce and have been together so long that we won't. I am really wondering how does a person let go of the past and regain trust after it has been broken in a relationship?

I order pizza frequently, and my wife and kids always end up having a part of the pizza. The problem is that I'm ordering the pizza for myself (I can eat a full pizza will no problems). I don't want to order extra pizza for them, I just want to order one pizza for myself. How do I tell my wife and kids this?

My husband ignores me. His best friend (a coke addict) gets in my face and screams at me all the time, my husband does nothing, he works "for himself" so he has no schedule, I work full time at a real job, he drinks everyday and I feel super neglected. I never lived with him before marriage (only cause I was re-cooping from a bad accident) but we dated for 5 years. I feel hopeless and so depressed. I've discussed divorce with him but he WON'T communicate with me at all in regards to any issues I'm having; I'm at a loss I don't know what to do, I hate where we live, I'm starting to hate him and I don't even know how to go about a divorce. Help! any stories, words of wisdom please advise.

I have 2 stepsons (5 and 8) and my husband and I have 3 kids together. A 1 1/2 year old and four month old twins. Lately, my husband and I are having a lot of problems and I am wondering if I am out of line. He owns his own business and works generally from 8 to 5. He is on call on Monday and Tuesday nights but has not had any calls in months on his nights. I do the laundry, cook dinners, do all the cleaning, do everything with the kids, get the groceries, errands, garbage, drs., pay the bills, everything. He keeps the garage clean, and does the lawn. I have been asking him to help me more around the house and he is very upset about it saying he needs to relax. He comes home, i get his dinner, and he watches tv and goes to bed. In the meantime, I don't sit down, I don't even eat dinner until 10 when everyone is in bed. I feel sort of slighted but if this is what other stay at home moms do, then I need to stop feeling so resentful and be more appreciative. Please help.

My goal is to minimize arguments, somehow distribute the responsibilities so that one person doesn't feel that they are doing more than the other, and that both persons are respected and appreciated?

OK, Here is a good ?
How do you think married actors, (Example- Michael Douglas & Katherine Zeta Jones ..OR ... Paula Patton and Robin Thicke) react when they find out that their spouse must do a NUDE LOVE SCENE?
I know I would not particularly like it, if my hubby was an actor & had to do this...but
How would YOU feel?

This is a FUN question! So, still answer me honestly...but it was just a ? I wanted to ask!

When my husband and I got married we were in a very tight situation and VERY irresponsible, 4 months after we got married I found out we were pregnant. At first my husband worked full-time while I went to school full-time. We weren't rich but his job alone got us to survive. When my daughter was born I spent the first 5 months of her life at home, I was the stay at home mom and busted my as* at home, likemost of the mothers out there, When she got to be a little bit older than 5 months I decided it was time for a job. I worked as a hostes VERY part time. Making only 8 an hour, working 20 hours a week TOPS. This was BAD, becuase our rent doubled and no utilities were included. We were forced to move and I ended up quitting my job. We moved to a location where my husbands jo was all we needed. I attended school on the weekends for MA Certification. Eventually driving to school with only one car was bad becuase either my husband had to leave early to take me...(please wait 4 add. details)

I have a son with ADD. His visits out of state with my ex-husband ruin his progress at school. Why should I let my son be pulled out of school for an extended weekend on Labor Day just one week after school goes back for the fall? This ex-husband has drug and alcohol problems, untreated bipolar, untreated abuse issues in his past.....

My son has never had to interrupt his school year before since I am primary residential parent. Due to my desire to marry again, I didn't fight hard enough to have full custody (the state we lived in then had joint justody by default) and now regret it....

BUt can;t understand why! The vacations we had were ruined due to his child & mother (calling every 2 hrs) > I don;t know what 2 do it was so much this 2 months than the last time the kid came.My hubby tend be more on his side than on mine , so the kid didn't obey me @ all, soo in a way it did frustated me & my other kids did notice the difference on previleges, time outs & take aways. In the past hour, I have seen quite a few questions about problems with porn. It is wrong people, if you care about your spouse, you won't do it. Are you really willing to give up your marraige so you can look at naked pictures freely????? Child support, alimony, etc? If you would rather sit there and give time to some fake people rather than your spouse, you have serious maturity issues! Forsaking all others is the vow! The Bible states it is wrong to look upon a person in a lustful way. It's considered adultery! Fantasizing about someone other than your spouse adultery! argh...getting really pissed off at the world here, and going to follow any boy interested in my daughter to be sure he deserves her! if that makes me psycho, fine! lol!!! But I won't let her settle for some idiot who watches porn...!

I admit, there are times I have lied to my husband about petty little things, and I mean little things, nothing like large purchases or my where abouts etc. I know the consequences, but I still feel compelled to lie sometimes. Why is that?? Why would a married woman feel compelled to lie even a little to her husband? Could it be that we're trying to keep ourselves from being scolded like a small child, even if it means lying? Is it something that men use as control?? Any answers would be helpful, since I have a friend going thru this and I couldn't honestly give an answer, since I didn't know either. Thanx!

My husband always wanted sex more than me for years. Well in the last year we went through some trouble, he almost left me (I accused him of having an affair, SAID he was not) so he was hurt and pissed. Well, through all this I realized how much sex means in a marriage need to be intimate a lot more. I rarely gave BJ's now he gets them a lot and I am the agressor now and not him. He acts like he does not care about it now and I do not why. According to him he wanted it for a long time and I did not so it made him not care and he is offended how much I have changed, he resents me in a way for it. So, I have tried to get him in the mood for the last 3 nights and he acts tired, like I use to.Last night I woke up at midnight and he was watching porn and I am sure about to masturbate. WHY if has a good looking wife in bed willing to do anything? I got mad and he yelled at me and sad I was being silly and insecure ! I do not get it, this is what he wanted and now that he has it, he does not?

I have been with my husband 6 years, we have two boys together. It all started out great until he hit me about 4 months into our relationship, he vowed to never do it again and I was stupid to believe he wouldnt. Three months later he came into the bedroom, and started kicking my stomach, and punching my face, while I was sleeping. I woke to blood filling up in my mouth after one hit. Yeah I know....while tears are beginning to fill my eyes as I relive that terrible experience I wonder why I ever put myself in that position. I filed a report on him, he went to jail for almost a year, in my state after you break skin and crack someones jaw you get prision time. He got counseling while he was in jail and we kept in touch. He moved to my town when he was released from jail and we started out very slowly again. He has never laid a hand on me since, but the emotional abuse has started and continued over the past year or so.

I asked a question earlier about a pregnant friend with an abusive ex b/f. Where does she need to go for a restraining order against him? Is there anything involved such as cost? How long does a restraining order usually last?

All of you have been very helpful. Thanks!

I have a Master Degree in Marketing! But end up now, I am a Finance Manager in an internal company, I don’t like my job, but everyone seem to think that I am doing a good job!!!
I have been married nearly 8 years, my husband loves me so much. But I like him enough to stay with him, but I don’t think I love him as much as he does about me. Basically, I am in a life which I don’t really want to be, then again, there is not enough of reason for me to get out of it, and I am scared to get out of it, it is too comfortable! Time to time, I am two different person, one of me want to be myself, another one wants to be the perfect Mrs. at home, and with a black suit in work!

What should I do?

My husband and I have been having a lot of problems pretty much since we got married. Problems with drugs which has recently seemed to have changed and We also have very unusual problems, one of the biggest ones is the involvement of a 50 year old man (my husband is 23) in his life. This man has spent thousands of dollars on my husband and I do not want this man around anymore, he has put a wedge between us, i want to blame this man for a lot of our problems even though they are not all his fault. He claims to be a christian but has not dated anyone in over 30 years. He seems obsessed w/ my husband. i hate it! Anyways my husband i are going to try marriage counseling at a chuch next week, i am just curious about what they do and what i can expect to talk about. I am scared they will want me to accept this man in my life. I am pretty nervous about this, i would just like to get an idea of what i am about to go through. thank you!!!

I'm in a real bind. I have a job, a wife and two kids. Everything is ok but I can tell it's gonna start getting bad soon.

So I wanna do something before it gets really bad.

You see, I'm on crack. It's an expensive habit. I've already sold my underwear and socks on craigslist.

I sold the wheels on the family minivan. We drive it with 4 donut- spare tires.

I stopped brushing my teeth, and washing my hair with conditioner. I'm cutting all the corners to save money to support my crack habit but my wife started asking questions once she noticed that I had been wearing the same shirt for the past eight days.

You see, I sold all but one of my shirts, as well.

I don't know how long I can hold out before I start renting my social security number. I heard there's good money in that.

What can I do?
