Hello all,

I am 26 years old, healthy and have a stable job. I have a boyfriend who is also 26, healthy and have a stable job as well.

We have been together for 10 years by next month.

We planned to get married. But my mom against it. The reason is that we have to wait for a couple of years until we are more financially stable so that we are able to provide good quality of life to our children.

I want to get married and i also want my mom to get involve in all the wedding preparation process. I want her to be there, going through all the moments, kind like the mom in the "Father of the Bride".

For me, marriage is once in a life time thing, i love my mom, and i want her to be there to share my happiness.

I thought she has problems accepting that her kids are now grown ups.

And since my mom is not very good at anger management area, does anyone have any idea how i should approach and talk to my mom effectively?

Thank you.

A woman shoots her husband.
Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes.
Finally, she hangs him.
But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together.

My mother in law is a complete bully to the extent she has bullied (from pressure to almost threats) my wife to agree to have her as her support in the delivery room. The hospital only allows one person in and its the womens choice. Mt wife just says it will be easier this way in the long run. If i miss it i will hate her mother forever so i don't believe in will be easier.
What do people think i should do?

Iam 40 years old. married 7 years ago. since child hood i had stammering problem. so i avoided people and?
particularly girls. i lost my father when i was 4 years old. i lived with my mother. she too stammers. She is always self pitiying and not bothered when i was 33 i became desparete for sex. i could not contiue with shagging alone. i met her once in an office. became friendly and she came to my house. my mother was not there at that time for 3 months. we started having sex. i enjoyed it. but did not want to marry her because my child may stammer. but she forced me into marrying her and now my son is talking well to my relief. but i found that her family is very worse. her mother ran away with a neighbour after having 4 children . her father married again and the 2nd one ran away with an auto driver. the second wife used to treat her father like a dirt. she used to even hit him Now my problem is my wife is also treating me very harshly and she has no attachment for me. just wants my money. what do i do now. nothing is going to change her attitude.i love my son very much

i have never talked to anyone about this, but i know for a fact that my grandpa is cheating on my grandma. my sister and i both know this.

we always see him on the phone talking to this one lady. in fact, he talks to her in front of us, but in tagalog (filipino) because we can't understand it. but we hear him say "i love you" and talk about someone finding out about them.

and also, he uses either one of our computers to email, and i see him emailing to one particular person saying "i love you", "i miss you" etc. he calls her his "babygirl".

my parents and my grandma don't know about my grandpa cheating. i was thinking about telling someone, but im afraid that there might be some problems if i do... my grandparents stays at my house and drives us to school when my parents work, and if i tell, my grandparents might divorce, they won't be around my house much, etc.

what should i do, tell a family member about this, or just keep secret?

Is it considered cheating to fantasize about someone else while having sex with your loved one?

OR by really wanting to sleep with someone else but dont for fear of getting caught?

So how do you know when its really over?
how do you know that the love is really gone, or if your just going through a rough spot?
When do you put your foot down and say i have had enough im leaving?
how do you leave when you still have so many ties: ie: lease on a house, dog and a car loan in my name that is really his car?

Im just tired of all the arguements over the same things, and the un willingness to comprimise or change.
one day my heart says stay and one day it says go... im so confused, i just dont know what to do.

I think the problems we are having is because we moved in together too soon.. and now we are finding that we dont really have much in common...
but now that i have been with him for 4 years its hard to just say goodbye he tells me he will change... then does for about 1 week then its the same thing all over again.

And i have no friends or family here but i cant move to another town because i have a great job please please help i feel so helples

He asked me to go with him to an attorney for collaborative mediation. He is depositing his checks into a separate checking account now, but says he will put enough money into our joint checking to cover bills. He told me to take him off of all the credit cards (he's only an authorized user).

Why would he do this, but continue to live in the same manner as before?

I have really high expectations when it comes to who I want to date. So, of course I am very picky-and because of that I haven't dated or found a lot of guys attracted etc. But is it worth it to wait?.. Do have you had a success story?...I know in time, he'll come to me, but with me being so picky..you know, some say I might as well wait until I'm old-because it'll be a lifetime before he comes etc.

I found out my wife has almost $100,000 between two bank accounts and she doesn't know i found out. The thing is I've had to bust my ass working (she works too, but hear me out) to cover the normal expenses any marriage has and sometimes she has even asked for help in covering the cost of some of her expenses. For example, i just covered half the cost of her new contact lenses, cause she asked me for help on it. The thing is, I've had to hold out on buying a new car (I'm driving around in one that constantly breaks down) and buying things for me that I like because I was under the impression that she really needed help with her things and all the while she was hoarding all her earnings while I have exactly $397 in my bank account right now. For all these 7 years she has been hiding this from me and I've never hidden anything from her. I can't believe she didn't trust me on this. Should I confront her? Could she be saving that money to buy our house? Why not tell me? What should I do?

My husband calls me his sister name sometimes, which we have similar names that end in the EE sound, but its annoying to me especially because I don't care for his sister too much (okay at all!)& that he has done it in front of other couples! Kind of embarrassing, but its only here & there, but ENOUGH to where Its annoying, but If its honest mistake what can I do? Would this annoy you or is it so nothing to even get feisty over?

Dead beat mother (yes I have custody) has not paid child support in over 2 yrs, well pretty much never, let alone seen him in that time(he is 8 now). She is over $5000 behind, I just moved to IL from FL like a year ago and need to transfer my case over, but FL was really slacking in getting her. They had told me I would have to pay for the P.I. to find her. Is it the same in Illnois or are thay more strict??? I know if it was me I would be in jail. Any info or help would be great!! Thanks

He said I pull off his hair on the head, and I was gnawing on the side rail of the bed, that my incisor fell out. I also scratch his neck.
Anyone has the same experiences when his wife or when you went into labor?

He works at a store on a busy corner and this happened around 3 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon while he was working. Would you think it was some random thing or that someone who knew him had a grudge? My husband acts like he has no idea who did it and he wasn't interested in calling the police to file a report. I ended up calling the police to see if there was some gang-activity in that area, which they said there has not been.

By the way, the relationship started off as sex only and now they talk about their lives. It has been going on for over a year. How much longer before someone falls in love with the other. They are both married.

What kind of whore does that? I mean really. How can a woman with three children of her own, do that to another family? I am already divorcing him. I had the papers drawn up 2 days after I found out. He is out on his asss. I will take him for everything he has in court.

But, what kind of woman would do that? I can't for the life of me, imagine doing that to someone's family. I could never knowingly date a married man, especially one with small children. What kind of a person does that?

What kind of desperate whore could do something like that?

I have an order of protection on my ex-husband's new wife due to threats on my life and harassing me and my young children. She is posting threats on my life if I try to collect the back child support that is owed to me by using a myspace blog. She also calls my children nasty names in this blog. The order prohibits all forms of electronic communication and threats. Does this count as violating the order? She also caused a significant amount of damage to my car the same day she posted the blog, but I don't have any proof. I filed a police report, but they don't want to do anything. The blog is still posted and can be used as evidence. What can I do? (I live in Phoenix, Arizona)
