By the way, the relationship started off as sex only and now they talk about their lives. It has been going on for over a year. How much longer before someone falls in love with the other. They are both married.

there is an old saying that seems appropriate here. any man who steals another's spouse gets exactly what he deserves.

yeah, there are probably times that this actually DOES end up in a legitimate relationship. but to me, it's only a matter of time before one partner falls into the same behavior with yet a different person. the habit of finding excitement outside of your current relationship is a hard one to break.

He could of course nothing is off limits.. Look at prince charles and his camilla. when he was married to diana. in the end he got with his mistress the woman he loved and there together now.

Many men of course keep there family and kids seperate from the mistress. the mistress normally is someone who he can go to for sex love and other things he finds his wife isn't giving him could just be someone who cares and wants to listen to his needs and the wife is to busy with the kids and household and he feels neglected. so many reasons why men have affairs and mistresses. some can last for years and go on and on like in the old days of victorian era or back in the roman days. its nothing new.

Still happens today.

But don't hope for it . you will only get hurt. most of these mens aren't strong enough to leave there nest. but want some action on the side line.

Depends on what the man is willing to gain and lose and how much you are important to him. some men arn't interested in losing a lot in a divorce. others dont' care they rather be happy.

So the price depends on what the man values most.

It's going to depend on what the man wants from the mistress. I don't mean what he said about it being just sex way back when. If he ends up feeling a real connection to her then it's likely he'll eventually grown to love her. If he's kept his emotions out of it and just uses his time with her for excitement and sex then he'll never fall in love with her.

It happens in life. Sad but true type of deal. There is no justice when you fall in love. This is when LIFE in general also throws you a curved ball into someone's marriage. Life is not fair to some people. It just happens. Its part of Life. Cheating and mistresses. Sex can be the best thing in your life or it can ruin your life to hell.

I suppose its possible, although it is pathetic. They are both hurting their spouse/family more than they know.
"Falling in love" with someone else looks so great because they don't have to deal with daily mundane issues like the mortgage payment, kids schedules, yard work and toilet seat positioning. Eventually "life" catches up an that happy little love nest becomes mundane too. Too bad...they should have thought of that sooner.
Adultery has consequences. They'll discover them soon enough.

Depends on how much they both love their spouses.
If things aren't good in the marriages, and are better between them, then it could happen.
But if they're just using this relationship between the 2 of them as a fill in for what they aren't getting from their spouses, they may never fall in love.

If it's been going on for over a year, they're emotially attached. It would be the rare person who could have sex for a year with a woman he didn't begin to like. And if they talk about life, they dig each other. He's there already.

it's called falling in lust. if this mistress thinks he will fall in love with her and marry her...he might...but he will be as faithful to her as he was to his wife while he was seeing her. in other words once a cheater always a cheater and that goes for the mistress too. too bad their spouses haven't found out and kicked their lying, cheating butts to the curb, anyone who does this to innocent ppl and their kids deserve nothing but the very worst and count on it that it will come back to them, it always does. whether you do good or bad, the same always comes back to you.

Rarely do married men continue on with their whores after their wives leave them. Once divorced most men prefer women with morals, values and self respect. Whores (mistresses) don't have them and no man wants to wind up with the type of women who would break up his family. So they go after women who are single and not in volved or divorced women with no ties to another man. The mistress is usually left in the gutter.
