Marriage & Divorce - 16 July 2007

My good friend Karen's husband cheated on her while they were trying for a baby and he got the other woman pregnant instead.This is not the first time this has happened to her it also happened with an ex.bf.Anyway she has been depressed and angry since then.She keeps asking me what she did wrong?I do not want to tell her that she does not have great taste in men even though its true 90%percent of the men she dated were jerks,cheaters,abusive or all of the above in some way.When she had a nice man she used him as a door matt.She recently heard her ex.bf whom she dated when she was 18-19 ish for 1 yr and half is getting married.Worse her ex.bf is marrying the girl he cheated on her with and got pregnant.The ex.bf now has two children with this other women and a third on the way.My friend Karen now wants to sleep with this guy again and is throwing herself at him(thus far he has turned her down).I worry because she wants to be the other woman for once and feels this person deserves it

I've been married for almost a year., have moved to my hubby's state and getting to meet his circle of friends. We know this couple, where the guy has been a childhood friend of my hubby's, and his G/F became a good friend long before i came into the picture. This weekend we made a trip out of town on their request to visit the couple's first house together. His girl was totally trying to avoid bonding with me, not that I'm looking to be her best friend, but she totally left me out of conversations when we were eating out, and even at their place. I tried having girls chat with her to give the boyz their space, but she seemed to pretend she didn't hear me too many times, but she talked directly to my hubby or her guy. I was very lonely and on the verge of tears, and told my hubby i longed to be back home. I really don't know why she is doing this, in fact she started acting weird a few times we have met before , but i thought she was just tired. But i can't figure out what's up????

When we had court to determine visitation, he never showed up; therefore I was told that it was up to me to decide when and if he should be able to see his son. He does pay child support ($200/month) but thats about it. once a year he tries to see his son. but recently he asked if he could have him for the weekend. I said ok but this was before i knew he lived out of state 8 hours away. Can i tell him no unless he stays at his mothers (in state) for the weekend and sees him there?

My wife and I met in college dating for five years through undergrad and graduate school. We have been married for a little over a year now. My wife and I have a great relationship, we have a great sex life, we also use all the great toys, I do have one question though.

I thought it was funny. I grew up watching Married With Children and thought the shirt was hilarious. Unfortunately, my wife thinks it is degrading against women and means I don't love her??? What is your take on it? I still think she is being overly sensitive. I told her it was a joke and I would not wear it around her... Never thought a shirt would cause so much crap.

Although these answers will not change my opinion, I just wanted to see what others thought.
I am 18, my boyfriend is 20. He hasn't proposed yet but we have been together for 3 years and have started planning our wedding. We are both very excited...
We even have the date picked out (for 2009)

I know to most people, 20 years old sounds too young for someone to get married but I would like to know other peoples opinions. Please remember that we have been together for 3 years already...and we've been through it ALL (trust me..)

ok...so we were having the most romantic weekend till i jumped on the computer to check something and a porn link came up on the history. i got really upset because the least he could do is hide it and make sure it isnt where i can find it (i've told him this in the past) because although i understand men like to look at this stuff...i have an insecurity problem (which i fully admit and try my hardest to work on). anyways he apologized. i forgive him but now i feel really uncomfortable having sex. i usually love to have sex. but we tried doing it yesterday and the whole time i just kept thinking in my head "do i look fat, am i doing this right? do i look as good as the computer chicks?". i couldnt enjoy myself at all. i feel so inadequate. he assures me that he thinks im the most beautiful girl in the world but i still feel ugly compared to those porn girls. how can i make myself feel confident and enjoy sex again?

My boyfriend (of 7 yrs) had problems in the 1st couple yrs.We were young, he cheated & didnt take the relationship seriously at the time-however we been through a lot & matured extremely & now things are really great with us. We have two boys 6 & 1 yr. he had a daughter by a girl he cheated on me with. We split up 3 times during 7 yrs (the last time was last june) every time he would go stay with the girl he had the kid by & she ended up pregnant again-which he just had a paternity test done for this child. The girl is psychotic and drinks and plays games using the kids against my fiance. She wont let him see them & then she will, then will say he doesnt do anything for them, then she will ignore his calls,then she will flip out and start pranking us or damage our property, then she will say he can see them only if its at her house.she is always using these kids as tools against him.He is having a hard time being a dad to the kids & cant afford a lawyer-what is the best thing to do?

If you have read any of my posts then you know that we have some serious marriage issues. He has cheated twice, has a porn addiction (although he says he has not viewed any porn in a few months) and he lies about the simplest things. Also, he feels that I should have taken the time I needed to get over the infedelity incident before asking him to come home and try to work things out. Another huge issue is that he feels that he should be able to stay out late with his single and married friends and do whatever as long as he's not messing with other women. He said me wanting to set guidelines in the marriage is only an effort to control him. Everything I do, he accuses me of trying to control him. So yesterday I asked my mom to try to talk to him since I can't seem to get through to him. She talked to him face to face and she did not point fingers at him directly. She basically told him we need to go see a counselor to help us. He told her he doesn't believe in counselors.

i have a 7 and a 4 and their daddy and i are going through a divorce and we have been split up for over a year now and i'm with another guy...i know it is hard for them..i try to cut them some slack but when they come back form his house they don't listen to me they don't get a long with my b/f and me and him fight about it...sometimes i think he's to hard on them...i know they hurt because of all this.i want help them and comfort them but don't know how....sometimes i think they hate me for all of this......my girls use to be close to me but now they would rather live with their daddy.......i don't know what to do..someone please give me advice......

My husband asked me to take pictures of some work he was doing in our shop. Our camera uses alot batteries. I knew we had other batteries available but he did not. We have digital camera so film is not problem. I snapped 3 more pictures after my husband warned me that the batteries where about to be depleted. I did this so that I could adjust the lighting and find the best angle. Before I could explain this to him and let him know I had other batteries he turned and looked at his father and said "SHE IS LIKE A BIG OLD DUMB DOG, SOME TIMES YOU HAVE TO KNOCK HER IN THE HEAD , TO GET HER TO DO WHAT YOU WANT". We have been married for 8 years. I normally storm out and say my peace.

just split with my violent partner that i have 2 kids with after 8 years! He wont let me go, phones every day and is in a rehab centre at mo police know of situation but cant not do anything at mo! as he is in rehab and they are not fretning calls even though he is breaking his bail conditions, i just want to move on with my life but cant till he is out of it! I know this topic has been here billion times. But I just wanted to know your comments about my situation.
Me having an affair with my best friends wife since 10 months
as they moved near to my house. She has on 4 yr old girl.
To be honest I use to fantasy her everyday before we came close.And it was she who made the very first step.I believe the only first attraction is between an affair is sex and then which turns out to be so called love provided you like the person also.

Now she wants to concieve very badly & very much frustated at this situation. And she doesnt wants to have sex with me unless she gets pregnant and may be during the entire pregnancy. She says the child in her stomach wont be pure while having sex with 2 men( me & her husband)

And Iam very frustated at this moment as I cannot have sex with her. And I feel the love level has also gone down.She doesnt gets those urges to meet me or see me what she used to have a month ago.So I feel maybe she doesnt luv me anymore

Ever since I married my husband (who for some reason has very high IQ) he seems to have forgotten his role as a provider, husband, friend and confident. He seems to play stupid or not be responsible for our finances and tries to pass it off on me or the creditors he owes money. For example, he has not paid a bill since Feb 07 and has been trying through contacts to get it 'squashed' now its July 07 and the bailiffs are coming to collect on it. It angers me that he is not responsible and that he acts like an idiot when it comes to his responibilities. Why do I always have to take charge when it is his duty and HIS BILL?

2 is the case to filed in family court before the total seperation time or after the required years of seperation.
3 does the indian family court gives divorce on the basis of years of seperation, even if the women is not ready to seperate and the men is ready.

I am on the brink of divorce with my wife. Problem is I still love her and she too does, but her pain is heavier on her love, which she has ceased to express. We had some problems in the past, but not that big to separate, however one day in anger i said her to leave my home and i dont want to see her ever again. I have been dating Ellen for seven years. I have proposed twice and we have attempted to move in together but she gets cold feet.She has an autistic son whom I have treated as my own son. I take him to yard sales each week and do many summer activities with him.
Well, Lat week I offered to help Ellen clean out her porch. It was a very hot day and the work was hard. After we finished I bought lunch. I left shortly after that because on each Wednesday, Ellen's Ex picks up the son and brings him to her house. His living quarters are cramped. So he spends each Wednesday with his Dad at Ellen's house. Of course, I am not allowed there at these times.
Well after I left, she went out shopping for groceries and prepared dinner for herself, her ex, her son, her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend.
I must add that I have never been invited or dinner, lunch or any other meal. I am really hurt- I stayed at home having a bowl of cereal while this "family' dined on her cooking. What do I think
