No, I wouldn't. They are my friend's ex for a reason, it would not be good for my friendship, and there are plenty of other fish in the sea anyway. I can probably do better.

As far as your last comment is concerned, unless you're between 14 and 17, pretty much EVERYONE is leftovers.

No, I wouldn't date a friend's/relative ex. I know that the other person would still have feelings for them. What if that was you? Sometimes u got think of the other person feelings. Yes, it would be some one else's leftovers why would u want them? Is worth hurting the other person? I don't think so because blood is always thicker than water. Good luck!

It's not leftovers. But you have to look at it a little differently than any other new relationship. Was is a rough break up? How do they still feel about eachother? How long ago was the relationship? etc. Just a lot of factors. However, if you and the other person are attracted to one another and want to be together, then why not? They could be "the one", you never know.

I don't think it's getting leftovers, I mean unless you date a virgin, everyone is someone's leftover. And while I feel that one man's trash is another man's treasure, I would seek to find that treasure elsewhere than dating the man of a friend or relative. That's the number 1 no/no in the cardinal rule book of dating.

A relative, like my brother, absolutely not. Respect for my brother would come first.

A best friend - no. Same reason.

A casual friend AFTER a lengthy period of time - I probably would if I felt a connection. The chance at a good relationship would trump the friendship of a casual friend.

I would not consider it leftovers. Unless our spouse was our first boyfriend or girlfriend, aren't we all leftovers in some sense?

I wouldn't say it is getting leftovers but complete disrespect for the friend or relative. You don't do that.

No never! That is one of the unspoken rules of dating, you do not date the x's of friends, family, etc. You do not date friends brothers, sisters, uncles, fathers, mothers, etc. There are too many men/women in the world. No need to share! God bless****
