I want to move on and do what is best for the kids who are 6, 11 and 13. We have opened up dialogue but still she is not ready to sit down and discuss important issues. The kids want changes in visitation, discussion of vacation times and that kind of stuff. Why go through the courts when two adults should be able to work this out among themselves?

Him and I have spent a great deal of time together and I love him deeply. He has also told me he loves me alot. When his grandfather passed(he was like his father)he ask me not to come around because he didnt want hard feelings with his family. His sister is best friends with his ex-wife(they arent divorced but separated for three years and she only comes around wanting him when she finds he has another girl)I never met his pop pop or grandma but met his sisters, brother, son and mother. His pop pop really loved his stepdaughter. Well I stepped back and did the right thing so no hard feelings would be there. He has texted me but hasnt called for four days and today told me he would call but he had alot of decisions to make and things to think about. He has also met my children and they loved him and he liked them...What do I do except he is going through a hard time or except he is taking the ex back. Lost and broken hearted

I would like to know who can do this too someone who really needs help? These are circumstances: Not legally married to this person and has a child with this person. Scared to do anything because her ex husband committed suicide recently (was divorced for over 15 years). He had been Baker Acted 2 times by sisters and Mother.

But this person has been getting real verbally abusive and somewhat physically pushing and breaking things etc., Mostly threatening suicide. What family members could do this? Do not want them to lose job or go to jail etc. How can you help them?

Through work I have met a woman who is not a co-worker, but a prospect to be a business partner with our company. I believe she is the woman of my dreams, but I have been married for 16 years with no plans to divorce. My thoughts are totally consumed by her and I walk around with a hollow feeling inside knowing that I will most likely have to let her go. I feel as though I can barely breathe when I think of her. She is breaking my heart and doesn't even know it.

My good friend Karen's husband cheated on her while they were trying for a baby and he got the other woman pregnant instead. This is not the first time this has happened to her it also happened with an ex.bf.Anyway she has been depressed and angry since then. She keeps asking me what she did wrong?I do not want to tell her that she does not have great taste in men even though its true 90%percent of the men she dated were jerks, cheaters, abusive or all of the above in some way. When she had a nice man she used him as a door matt. She recently heard her ex.bf whom she dated when she was 18-19 ish for 1 yr and half is getting married.Worse her ex.bf is marrying the girl he cheated on her with and got pregnant. The ex.bf now has two children with this other women and a third on the way.My friend Karen now want to sleep with this guy again and is throwing herself at him(thus far he has turned her down).I worry but dont know how to help her out of this rut?

My husband and I have been married for over a year. Every month i get this feeling that my husband does not love me the way i love him. He does alot of things that are hurtful to me, but he doesn't see him doing it. for instance, he doesn't like kissing me anymore. When we were just dating, he loved kissing me, but once we got married, he pushes me away everytime i go to kiss him. he says it's because I wear out my welcome and kiss him to much. Recently i have had some guy friends tell me they see the way he treats me and they don't think he treats me good. He doesn't hit or anything, and when we argue he shuts up and stops talking so we don't get into terrible fights. I love him more than anything and we are even trying for a baby but i feel so unloved. I even get thoughts about what it would be like without him and i always wonder if i made a mistake marrying him and maybe there is someone out there that treats me better. I don't know what to do?! any advice please!!!

I'm writing an article on why people divorce. Is anyone willing to share why they split from their significant other? All I need is your answer, along with a first name and last initial. If you want to share your state, as well as how long you've been divorced and if you've remarried that would be great. Thanks.

I saw David Beckam getting welcomed to the LA Galaxies the other day and when the mayor stepped up he was treated like hitler. It was pretty rough. I know he was unfaithful to his wife but that cant be the only reason.

My brother recently left his wife after she cheated on him twice and he tried to work it out. Since all three of his children's birth he has been the primary caretaker. He has stayed home with them 24/7 . Basically a stay at home dad . No jobs. No vacations. The real deal. His wife has no idea even how to fix their hair or take care of them because he has not done it for so long.
He intends to divorce her and move in with another woman he has met a little after they split. His new partner backs him 100% and is willing to take in the children. The children live with their mother in New York but are absolutely miserbale and talk to my brother about 4 hours a day. There ages range from 5 - 8 . My brother had to leave due to his soon to be ex wife's new found violent nature. She cut him with a broken beer bottle at one point.
My question is , Can he file custody from California with the kids in New York with their mother?
