I've been dozing on and off ...sleeping like I haven’t slept in a very long time.

And it felt good.

We dropped the kids off for the weekend and the warden and I well...we acted like when we did when we were first dating. Very nice...up all night for the past 2 nights.

Dearest Flavio,

Today, we had a nice breakfast (Belgian waffles) and then went out in the canoe, fishing in the Mississippi backwaters.

The sun was shining and the beer was cold.

We caught about 20 nice bluegills and released several smallmouth bass that weren't large enough to keep.

Then, we came home and tended our garden (40'x48').

Then, we had cocktails and kicked back.

Boring is a relative thing.

What did YOU do?

Lets see.....well the dogs woke me up at 6 a.m. because there was a skunk in the yard so I went out in my p.j.s and shot it to death. Went in a changed my clothes and went back outside to clean up that mess. I spent about an hour cleaning my .45 pistol because I haven't done that in a while. then I called my hubby who is on a truck run and about 300 miles away. It is 102 degrees today so I had to make sure all the outside animals had plenty of water before it got that hot. Weeded the garden a bit, My youngest son showed up and I helped him load up one of the extra Harley's in the garage that needs to go to the mechanic. Other than that I just did basic chores. Nothing more or less. It was pretty boring actually.

We find something fun to do every weekend. We have just moved to a new state and are checking out all the new and fun things to do in our three state area. But even when we have lived in an area for a while, we always plan little excursions. And on the weekends we have too much yardwork or errands, we plan a dinner party so we can entertain. There is always something to do. We like to bike, have wine tastings at the different wineries, go to art shows, boating.....lots of stuff out there to share.

Then we took the kids to the park and my 4 yr old. pissed all over himself. Finally they went to bed and i want a real hanky panky- hubby is snooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnggggggggg! Passe d out on the couch. He exhausted himself for 2 minute so fun and working out. That's not boring that sad, sad, sad.

First, try your best to turn off all of the parts of your brain involved with critical thinking. Start reading and try hard to ignore all of the contradictions, don't worry that Genesis contains two completely different creation stories, and try to ignore the fact that the Old Testament god is a genocidal maniac (first born children of Egypt/Noachite flood drowns all the children not on the ark/slaughter of the Amalekites). Keep a plastic pail near you for when it causes you to throw up.

We delivered all the wedding gifts this morning (as requested) to the home of the bride and groom who got married yesterday evening , then dropped off the rented tuxedo, followed by lunch with my parents, and after that we visited my Niece in the hospital, and now we are thinking about going out to dinner to relax.

Considering I'm pregnant now, I spent the 1st part of the morning expelling all my stomach contents ---then I changed like 10 diarrhea diapers from my 2 year old ---then I made breakfast so that we could start the process all over.
