Marriage & Divorce - 13 July 2007

My wife gave me 30 days to find out if we both want to stay together or separate. We still love each other but she says I have issues with my temper that she don't like. I don't want to separate and I am seeing therapist for my temper. I feel that if we separate it will be to hard to get back together. What do I do? Or what do you think?

i've been with him for a year now. he says he loves me but he cheats on me. when i break up with him he either beats me or trys to break my belongings. the worst part is i'm pregnant n my baby is high risk (gastroschisis if anybody knows wut that is). i dont want to put my child in danger bcuz the father of the baby keeps beating me. n the stress from when he breaks my belongings. he practically forces me to stay with him. how can i break up with this guy without being beat or having my stuff broken.

i wanna get my husband something very special for our anniversary in a few days. For two years I had this wall that pushed my wife away, she gave and gave and for some reason I couldn't give back! I regret it and I wish I could take it back, she is the perfect woman. ok here is a scenario.. man has a one night stand with a woman, she gets pregnant and has his child but he doesnt finds out till 8 yrs later..
does he still owes the child support for those 8 years?

im 23 and he's 25. my neighbor or more than 10 years has shown interest in me on and off for 3 years. He started by paying extra attention to me and trying to get my attention. Once, after work, he saw me and we talked. He asked that i join him for dinner and the he was paying. i refused and he insisted and i refused again and he let it go. After that we would see each other occasionally and say 2 or 3 word to each other and keep it moving. I realized that this is stupid and approached him and he completely ignored me, i couldn't buy his attention. after we simply had a hi and bye relationship. for another year before he asked me out again. i turned him down because it was dancing, im not a dancer. after that he was a little resentful. after that the pattern would continue that way. he would pay extra attention to me at a bad time and than when i see him another time he will completely ignore me. Keep in mind i've never had a boyfriend and i'm don't know how dating works.

I've been working my azz off for the past five months to get in really good shape. I finally got the six pack abs and am down to my smallest waist size in years. My wife complains about it all the time. She tells me that I should gain weight. She even tries to temp me with bad foods that she knows I love but don't eat anymore. What's her deal? I thought women liked a well built man. I'm confused, I feel and look better than I have in years an she doesn't like it. Any ideas people?

I have a 3yr old daughter that is a whinney PiStol. Her father left me when he found out I was pregnant and has never seen her. So I recentley married again and are 8mo pregnant and my new husband picks on my 3yr old and has no compassion towards her when she does somthing wrong. He thinks I treat her like a baby but I just hate too see her upset it breaks my heart. Is hard to except step children I just dont understand why he is so uncompassionate towards her.

my husband is turning 40 soon. He is having a rough time dealing with this. He also started a new job recently to add to the stress. I think he is trying to find his way in life but he isn't one to talk much about his feelings. He says its because he doesn't even know what is wrong or what is going on with himself. What can I do to help him? Should I just back off for a while and be patient? And how long do I just sit here and wait? This has just started in our relationship so there is no "other" woman--yet. I am scared it will come to that. I hear about men going through this at his age and it leads to that alot. We have been married for 15 years and if he can't talk to me about what is going on then what the heck am i doing here??

I am a 24 year old who was just married over 1 yr ago. Hubby is incarcerated and has been for over 8 yrs, but we have been together for 2.5 yrs. Don't get me wrong, i care and love my husband dearly and i know he loves me in return, but i felt like i was putting my life on hold. He does not have long, only less than 2 years. Recently i started venturing out and seeing other people. I feel like people look at me in a bad way because i see other men, even though i am married. But in my heart, i feel like this is not wrong because i have to take care of myself and my son, by myself. No one can really judge me because they dont walk in my shoes and dont know what i have been going through. I honor my marriage and cherish my husband, but i am not for sure if i want to stay with him now. It's not because he's disrespectful, but i want to see other people. my husband has been married 7 other times ,Im the 8th
he is very immature, blames me for everything and expects me to
work and provide for him .He constantly loses his jobs i've had one job since movng back to bakesfield, , He manages one job a month (9) that 's how long we've been back here He has managed to get himself thrown out of my daughters house , to never set foot in it again. IEvery time we argue he tells me I am going o go back to working as a hooker again (that 's how I met him) He has admitted to sleeping with other women and went as far as moving to nc for a month with his ex- or not so ex. They renteda motel room and tried to tell me he slept in a different bed.. She (ex) said differently.

Anybody else ever had their mother in law destroy their marriage? My wife and i were happy. When we were happy we visited her parents. One time when we were leaving, her mother said "just remember if you're ever unhappy you can come back and live with mommy". we were happy. we went through some rough times and my wife started talking to her mother. her mother of course took this as an opportunity and guess what, my wife is gone now. we split up. she always was at odds and told me her parents were controlling or oh that's just my mother. seems that she could never break away. it was like she was still a little girl and her mom was jealous that she was married and she wasn't the center of her life. it just sucks but it was like i was married to all of them and they acted close but it was more like a control thing. anybody else deal with this?

iam 32 years old and i have been married for 1 year and 4 months. i moved in with my husband at his house and iam happy being married so far. i still call my mom everyday to see how they are doing but every time i talk to my mother she always saying negitive things trying to make it seem like that iam so unhappy being married and not living in her house anymore. she never encourages me or support me when it comes to my marriage it always " i look like i lost weight, i dont look happy, what wrong? it always something wrong with me when i get arround my mother. honestly iam doing very good and iam very happy for once in my life. she always makes this commet " i can move back home" for what? why would i want to do that and im married! i just cant move back home and leave my husband. iam not my mother back bone anymore, iam not their to help her take care of her family which is my father and 29 year old brother! it seems she dosent want me to be happy buy myself.

My problem start from age 25. When I was 25 years old, I refused one marriage proposal.My all family was willing for that marriage. After that my family find my ex husband and finally I marry that person. I suffer in my marriage till 6 years.I have no kids. In between I work hard in my studies. I want to settle in good job.Now I am 33 years old. I took divorce with my husband. I am living with my mom and brothers. I think that from 10 years I am suffering from problems. When they will end? Finally my hands are empty.I have no kid, not any family and married life, not a very good job.I always pray to God please end my this bad period. I have tired. My sister in-law has also dispute when she marry with my brother. But God give her a son. Now my brother and sister in-law are happy. She always speak bad words for me.
