Basically where and how did you meet your current/future/ex spouse? Details appreciated. I'm trying to zone in on which approaches work best, and I'll keep a closer eye on certain places. Haha...maybe not really, but I love hearing these stories.

Mine got upset w/ me saying I really got it for me...It was a nice Italian food cookbook that I saw in the bookstore while shopping. I thought it would be fun to make stuff not really meaning for her to do all the work....How would you feel? Would you care? Would you like it or dislike?

Finally, after 4 years of marriage my husband has finally agreed to getting circumcised. He agreed to get it done when he turned 30 and Feb 28 was his 30th birthday. We have consulted with a clinic in the Baton Rouge area that specializes in this and discussed the pros and cons and have set the date for May 16 so he can have the following week off to recover. My ex boyfriend before I married was also not circumcised so this will be something new for the both of us.
Has anyone else been through this and what can we expect? Girls, is it better cut or should we cancel? I'm a little nervous but really think I want this. We are going to take pics before and after and are trying to get in as much sex as possible before cut date to compare the before and after feelings for the both of us. Willing to share results and answer questions later as a man and woman that has experienced both. Hope its worth it because I know it's final.

I dont want to hear about AA meetings because he wont go. He doesnt think he has a problem. He leaves my son and me to go drink with his freinds at their house or brings them over to ours and then I am left to clean up after them. When he gets close to me and kisses me it makes my stomach turn because of the smell of beer on his breath and then tells me I dont love him because I dont want to be near him when he is drunk. He always says I am overreacting. Am I overreacting? What would you do?

My husband had an affair and alot of his friends knew and kept it from me. I understand they were only being loyal to him and he put them in a bad situation. But I have asked him to cut off contact with those friends that supported his affair. Its hard enough for me to trust my husband again and I just dont have the capacity to trust more than one person right now. I dont agree with his continued friendship with these people. They all knew me, knew our children and knew he was screwing around on me. Am I unfair to ask that my husband cut off his relationship with those people? He disagrees with me, but I say he lost all say in alot of things when he decided to stick his d*ck in someone else, so quite frankly, its my way for awhile and thats just the way I look at it. You are judged by the company you keep and his company obviously supports husbands screwing around on their wives.

We met and fell in love and tied the knot in 2003, we have a lovely daughter who is 30months old. I love my husband and he loves me too but sometimes I feel so angry at him that I dont want him even touching me. He is a good husband but his only problem is he likes to bother me (tickle me,kick me playfully and stuff like that). I have asked him to stop since we met but to no avail...Do you think this feelings has anything to do with his "playfullness"
I really want my husband to pay attention and be sensitive towards my feelings

My husband and I are separated and have been for 7 months. We have no assets, other than his business which has a great turnover. I was told by a few people, he has said he wont apply for divorce as this will ensure he pay's out minimal costs to me in the long run. He pays the rent and gives cash to me weekly/fortnightly but has stated to me he will not apply for divorce. He has a girlfriend now which he refuses to admit to, but friends have told me they are an item. He is trying to avoid getting a valuation done on his business as this is all I am claiming as we have no other property, other than a car and furniture. He has made an offer to me, wants to settle out of court but I feel he is trying to rip me off. I suggested that we get a business valuer in and go halves in the cost and he said he has no money to do this. I dont know whether I should accept his offer or call his bluff. Why does he want me to apply for divorce?

It doesn't make sense to me that she goes out of her way to associate when she can just as easily pretend that I am not here.

I am currently single and would rather not speak to her altogether.

I just got out of a 6 year relationship. We have 2 kids together and he left me for another girl. The thing is this girl is really ugly. I know looks don't matter, but really she is. She changed her look last week to look just like me( dyed her hair, straightened it, tanned). Anyways...how do I get over a broken heart if I have my kids that remind me of him?? I'm trying my best not to be too upset around the kids, but it is really hard to do. I've been trying to keep busy and go to peoples houses, but all I do is think about him. He left Friday, and I don't know what to do....I miss him, and I know he screwed me over. Maybe, I just miss the fact of him being here, I don't know. I don't even have any friends to talk to, only his mom, which he feels he did me wrong also. Does anyone have any advice for me??

I can see the sadness in my son eyes, I try to make him happy with other things but he still ask for this man. Why? he is marriage, has a daughter, and made no attempt to contact us! I know I got myself in this position and saw it comming down the road, I was seperated from my husband when I got pregnant with my son,

Ok how would you interpret this situation. My fiancee knows that im going to pick her up from work. I turn up to her shop with her sister and she isnt there. We ask her friend where she is and as a joke i think her friend says with her boyfriend in the toilet. Her sister says she wants to go see her, so i go with her and her sister comes back out of the toilet and says shes not there. We go back to her shop, then about 5 min later my fiancee arrives at the shop. When her sister asks where she was she says in the toilet we just checked. Her sister then says no u weren't because we were just there. Then my fiancee says no i was in the out of order one, then her sister says no u weren't cause i checked there too. Conversation stops for 5 min then my fiancee changes her story and says she went to another toliet that was much much further than the other one and that she just wanted to walk. Also lately she has been very secretive with her mobile. Hanging up on the calls she receives.

Do spouses give each other room to grow normally in marriage? My ex-husband never let me do things on my own including grocery shopping. I had to buy things the way he wanted and the food that he liked. I also hid the things that I bought for myself and my child.

I am wondering if there was something wrong with me for not adjusting to his ways or if he was too controlling.

I always felt that every decision had to be made in his way or it was wrong. We never discussed anything or had good communication either.

Now that I am on my own, I make decisions as I want and spend money freely. I don't go overboard and try to economize where I can. However, I feel that we only live once so we deserve to treat ourselves well within our means.

I realize I may have been critical on the subject and so forth but as a man why should you get married? A woman this day and age will cut and run so fast that she makes the American military look invincible. I understand the stats if you want to have kids and so forth, that it is better. But most American women do not want to have children, they view them as little parasites sucking way at all the future items they want. All they view you as the male as a future steady alimony payment. For all of those women who say "I will never leave my man", I say then don't talk to your friends and don't watch Oprah. Because one day, you are going to become to believe that you are a victem, and it is all your husband's fault, and whatever faults he may have youc an use to manipulate the courts and so forth and the aforementioned enablers will brainwash you into hating him. Soplease, gentlemen, enlighten me on why a man, in this day and age wherewomenareequal to men, is justified in getting married?

I’m 51 now, been married for 30 years … and we have 10 children and 2 grandkids. But, for a lot of healthy reasons, my wife prefers oil soap over aerosols for polishing furniture. Verbally, I’ve agreed with her; but in my heart I am still a lemon scented aerosol polisher. I don’t know what got into me tonight. When everyone was sleeping, I quietly went out for some lemon aerosol furniture polish and compulsively shined our dining room table 5 times. I just love that chemical scent of lemon aerosol; and the house is filled with it right now. It has a deeply soothing psychological affect on me … probably stirs good childhood memories.

So, I’m going to get caught indulging my sacred lemon aerosol furniture polish obsession in a little while. I’ll have some explaining to do. I wish I know how to explain this. Any ideas?

The guy is married as well but you don't have any feeling's for him whatsoever. I Love my spouse very, very much that you can't put in words. I just got good in my marriage with my spouse after a fews months of problems. Should i add this kiss to the items of problems we had to make what's good bad, again. I Asked for Gods forgiveness and i feel in my heart that he did forgive me for my sins. So please tell me what should i do if you was in my shoes.
