By some standards, that is likely to be contributing to the delinquency of a minor. You'd have a hard time getting a conviction unless he drinks alcohol in which case it would be a slam dunk.

No one is twisting your sons arm into playing cards, and maybe that's his way of bonding with his dad. And if that's the way he wants to blow his allowance, then so be it. And when he complains that he doesn't have any money, just remind him how it was spent.
Now if your ex was letting your son drink alcohol, then yes by all means call the cops.

It's not illegal, your son can't go to a casino yet, but a family game seems all well and good, but agree that the drinking part dose and will have an effect on him.

This is not normal, especially if they are playing for money, the next time they are gambling and having drinks call the police and have his as$ arrested.
