As you get older you will learn that your friends cannot fix a problem in your marriage, the only person that can fix anything is the person your married to... How is he supposed to know how you feel if you don't talk to him about your feelings. I quit talking to my friends about problems I had in my marriage a long time ago because it didn't help the problem. It's O.K. to talk about everyday stuff, cooking, job, kids, shopping etc. But when it comes to a issue in the marriage, you have to talk to him and only him. Friends judge your spouse over a period of time because they know your business, and then trouble brews...

I don't think you should feel guilty but you must remember the key to a good marriage is communication. If you are not communicating with him and sharing with him what's going right or wrong in the relationship how will he know. Talk with your husband and you will be glad that you did. Good luck

Although I understand your guilt, sometimes friends are easier to talk to without it effecting your relationship. Although you should feel free to talk to your spouse, and if there is a communication problem, work on that, it's important. However, friends can be less judgemental in certain situations and you should not feel guilty. Solving a problem is more important than how you solve it, sometimes.

I don't think you should be feeling guilty if you are only sharing your feelings with this friend.

No! Different dynamics are part of different relationships with people. Do you talk about sex w/ your mom or your best friend? Does your husband discuss auto mechanics w/you or his male friends?
If your husband is happy with the the way things are...well then it is fine.

Depends on what you're telling your friend. Of course we all have things that we share with close friends and not spouses, but if it's something detrimental to you or your relationship, then you should be talking to him.

So this is one of those questions where you've already answered it your self by asking it? Is it working out for you, doing your deep confiding to someone other than your spouse? Honestly the content of your feelings is the point here.

No....as long as you don't tell things that break the privacy between a husband and a wife.
Things that would hurt or humilate him is off bounds.

yep, if you can't share your feelings and communicate with your husband then why have you chosen to be with him for life. Communication is the key to any relationship if you don't have that then.....
