It doesn't make sense to me that she goes out of her way to associate when she can just as easily pretend that I am not here.

I am currently single and would rather not speak to her altogether.

Then don't. Tell her "back off...I don't even care to talk to you." That should stop any fantasy she may or may not have.

Do you have a child and are married or are you single? Your question and your follow up explanation seem to state two different things.

You pretty much summed up how you feel about a previous "love of your life though." If you do not want to talk to her, then don't. tell her you are not interested in a friendship with her and she should get the message.

Then tell her that for some reason she hasnt moved on and if this is how you feel and you tell her maybe she can move on and be happy with her marrage and her kids. I loved a guy once for years and he just kept coming back in my life but he tried to make it seemed he loved me to but I just moved on because if he'd truely loved me he'd never left. Just tell her how you feel. Good luck.
