Just interested in knowing how people view a non-married relationship to being married? Which do you prefer and why? How do you view the other side, either as lucky, foolish, or elsewise?

My fiance of 2 years is leaving me because he believes I have cheated on him. I HAVE NOT!! He has a recording of him and I and the TV. He said that it is not his voice and that I had two guys here. Then he listened to it again, and realized it was his voice and the TV. He is now accusing me of doing it with the comcast sales guy. I am not that type of person. I have been cheated on and know how it feels. I couldn't demean myself nor could I hurt him. I have done everything I could to help him and us. He had major surgery at the begining of our relationship and when his disability ran out I supported him financially and encouraged him to do good for himself. He finally got a job 4 weeks ago and now he is leaving. I know he is just insecure because in all of his major relationships the woman cheated on him. He thinks I am into weird stuff and I am not. I just want to spend the rest of my life with him and have a normal happy relationship. I know I can't, how do I not let this bother me

My daughter is 14 and lives with her Dad about 3000 miles away from me. He has sole legal and physical custody of my daughter.

I call her almost everyday when she gets home from school. (on my lunch hour). I am worried about her because she needs help with school and my ex does not give her the time and attention that she needs.

How do I deal with this constant worry that I have in my mind? She wants to me to come visit her over Christmas and help her with her Math Final which is a project - to build something to scale.

I am not sure if I should go or not. On the one hand, if I don't go I will feel like I am neglecting her. On the other hand, if I do go I will end up staying with her and my ex and may be pushed into going back to them.

My ex had been pressuring me to get back together with him, but I don't see changes in his abusive, controlling behavior so I have been holding back.

We have 4 kids & he has not been at home very much AT ALL. He always says that he's going to a friends house & our friends & his family deny everything that I know for sure that he does. I have found out that my husband has gone out to the dance without me. He would not like it if I went to the dance by myself. So, I want to make him mad. Should I go to the dance by myself? What should I do so he stays home more?

women, just give ur man what he wants in bed no matter what it is and then u can quit worrying that he is cheating. but most women would rather argue for an hour than do a 15 minute sex act. WHY????????

My husbands exwife left her 5yr old son with us 8 months ago. We registered him in school in which he was attending with no absence. On Thanksgiving day she had him and decided to not give him back. This is not the first time she has decided to drop him off and take him as she pleases. She never has a stable home and is alway living with different men. Per divorce decree she has custodial rights but they both have joint custody of their 2 children. My husband says I can not call DCFS without actual evidence of abuse. What about the emotional and pshycological abuse of a childs learning years with her not having a stable home? What about her commiting a crime? She stole my husbands s.s.# and filed for a credit card under his name. She ran up the bill past the credit limit. What about a stolen gun in the house? What about her taking medication for bypolar scizophrenia? Would DCFS care about these things? Theres more to the story but not enough to write it all. Email: Leani4063@msn.com

I am 24 and currently in a 6 year relationship. Marriage is definately the next step that we will be taking within the next 2 years. I am writing to get this off my chest..Is it really wrong to marry for money? Well I'm not marryin' purely for money..maybe my love is based on money? I know to many it sounds low and disgusting or whatever..And thats fair enough 'cos we all have all own opinions. I know that many of you may say that he deserves better and that he deserves true love but if I was to break up with him, it would kill him.

He is very well off and treats me good and I don't want to end the relationship and struggle through life constantly thinking of bills, morgage payments etc. He does a lot for me and buys me nice things despite how materialistic that sounds. Do people sacrifice true love for financial comfort?..hrm what is true love..Don't they say that there are more there is more than one kindred spirit (or whatever u call it) for a person?..Please advice on this.

My wife and I were married for almost three years. There were a lot of rough spots in the marriage especially when I almost cheated on her. In July she said she wanted a divorce. I have been trying to get her back ever since because I realized how much I really love her and would never hurt her again. She says she just wants to be friends but our marriage is over. I have had the feeling that she still has feelings for me. She won't talk to me about it, so I did something kind of mean. I told her that I didn't love her anymore. I did it so that I could get an honest reaction from her. When I did, she had to fight back tears.

He (he is a Peruvian native by the way, and not a resident of the US) married his second wife (she is also peruvian) in Peru two months before the judge finalized our (I'm American) divorce here in the U.S.

He is now seeking a divorce from her, however, and is curious if he can invalidate the marriage by stating he wasn't divorced before he married her. If he does this, will he be charged with Bigamy?

Would it be better just do go through the divorce procedure in Peru and not say anything about the other divorce not being final (he's the only one that knows, she doesn't)?
