Or do you? Not because of marriage or sex problems. For sleep reasons.

My husband and I have a full size bed and both of us move around a lot when we sleep, plus we aren't cuddly at night. Sometimes his legs hit mine and it wakes me up. We're saving up for a king size bed, but in the meantime a few nights a week I wake up in the middle of the night and sleep in the extra bed. He doesn't like it so much, but he understands and sometimes doesn't even notice until the next morning.

The extra bed happens to be in our bedroom- the only place where it fits. We refer to it as the fornicator, as it serves a dual purpose for us:)

My husband and I have two kids and in order of either of us to get any sleep, I sleep in our room with the baby monitor and he sleeps in our 3 year old's room. Both of our kids wake in the middle of the night and we've tried it all kinds of different ways but that's what works best for us. Now, if we try to sleep in the same bed we can't. He has too much body heat for me and I take up too much of the bed. Our marriage is pretty solid and our sex life is good. We sleep apart because it's what works.

No but I do sleep on the couch alot because I get horrible cramps in my back and sitting up to sleep helps. But he always looks so sad when I go to the living room that I have to stay in the bedroom til he goes to sleep and then I move back in before he wakes up. I think if it's what you need to do to get decent sleep then you should. Lack of sleep is bad for your health and can start causing problems in your marriage if you're cranky and irritable.

This is such a funny question as in all honesty most people do sleep better alone and in the wonderful days of gone with the wind so to speak women and men had their own spaces to retire to which I feel keeps the sensual nature much more alive.. I want my room to be all female and a mans room to be all male. Then when you visit it is much nicer instead of all that mixed up energy. I think that is why there becomes such boredom and lack of interest in relationships ..you are just too familiar to eachother.

Yes! We are debating it right now. Dont think we ever will, but... it is so tempting.
I like my mattress hard as a rock, he likes soft soft soft.
He wants the fan on all night (even in winter). I freeze my butt off!
I am put off by 2 things ; 1 if any of my friends saw us with two separate beds they would laugh their heads off. I am 29. Guess age shouldnt matter, but then would come the obvious questions about our sex life - which is great thankyou very much.
2 I like to cuddle up to him.
Why? What about you?

For almost a year I slept in one of the guest bedroom so I can sleep a lot later. Then I got tired of it and went back.

Yes, but husband was later diagnosed with sleep apnea, now has a breathing machine and no longer snores like a moose.

nope, if my husband starts snoring to loud I just wake him up and tell him, then he turns over and tells me he's sorry. I couldn't imagine sleeping in a different bed. His arms just aren't that long.

I have only done that once as he was snoring really really bad but other then that we wouldn't consider it. It would feel weird to sleep in seperate beds I couldn't handle it!!

Not for sleep reasons, but he feels the need to want to come in that room too.
