Why cheat? There's many reasons "why", and there are many causes or at least people's excuses for cheating. Thrill seeking, the pursuit of the unknown, the high you get off by doing something naughty, the "no-no" of marriage, sexual satisfication, something new or different, the list goes on and on-like the Energizer bunny.

Loneliness, the need to feel special, to be wanted, to held, plain old horomones if you aren't getting what you need from your partner, someone to pay attention to you, a desperate attempt to make your spouse jealous, boredom, again on-an-on-and-on.

Cheating is not the answer nor the cure to problems. Whatever the problems are they are only intensified by cheating. The feel good moment can cause a lifetime of serious trouble. Not only for yourself, but for the one you promised yourself to. Why cheat? trying to find something missing? trying to scratch an itch, trying to prove you are still desirable to the opposite sex when you think your spouse doesn't want you anymore, because you have someone who's off limits to you.

There are too many reasons to list...the question you should have followed it up with is this "Was it worth it?"

There's no good reason, because if there are any problems at home you should talk through them and find out what you can do to save the relationship before you destroy it. Don't cheat.

people cheat because they really can't see the truth, they lack self control, they have a low self worth, and the other person they are cheating with enhances their self worth, by pretending to be the answar to it all. in every marriage and relationship there are problems, and there are storms we all must get through, but some people don't want to invest the time and love it takes to get a relationship back. people who cheat have no insight into theirselves and really believe they are in love with the other person.

People who don't care cheat.

So, I would guess the reason to cheat is because they lack those emotions.

because men and women aren't ever satisfied. they don't want to
do the work it takes in a relationship #1 is being honest.
just say hey i want out.. i wanna du somethin different...
i want a divorce... i made a mistake... i don't care anymore
i give up... im tired... Believe me everybody is replaceable if
one or the other is not satisfied w/the relationship...Don't cheat
get honest get out of the relationship and knock urself out!!!

1 to get even
2 to satisfy a boring life without sex
3 there is no commitment and true love
4 to get away from the reality of a marital life....that is you wil get bored with a partner who has been with you long
5 sex is a basic need ,,,, everyone wants to have it with others besides their spouses
