My husband will often tease me that I act just like my mother. I will come back with he acts just like his mother. This got me thinking. Does your significant other act just like one of their parents, or like one of your parents? Or is your significant other off on their own path? I'd love to hear other's views on this. Thanks

1 1/2 years ago, my husband told me he was tired of me and needed a break from me and that he was going to move out. I asked him not to, but I said that if he thought he needed to do that to help him, then ok. He stopped speaking to me then and when needed an answer to something, he asked one of the kids to ask me or he would have the kids do whatever it was he needed instead of letting me help. He never moved out. A month later, he left me note in my car telling me he wanted a divorce. I asked him what could I do to help make this work, and he just said nothing and wanted to know how much money was I going to want so he would know how much to budget for. After 1 1/2 years, he still has not moved out. We are invisible to each other and live in the same house. I tried and tried to have conversions with him trying to make this work. I am now leaving myself. Should I tell him, or could I leave him a note stating I am moving out? Which happened to you...letter or person?

After 16yrs, my husband has ended our marriage, for someone more than half his age, the same age as his oldest daughter! This "Girl" has given him an ultimatam, her, or his 12 & 18yr old daughter. He has chosen his young girlfriend, and refused contact with our children. He has moved in with her, and my daughters are not even allowed to call his mobile. He is 46, she is 22. He told me about her while we were in bed! Is it only me that thinks this is awful? How can a father desert his children? I'm trying to make sense of it, but can't! Has any other man/woman had to make that choice?

My partner (father of our two beautifull daughters/3&5) started his own business last Feb. Since then, his attitude/patience/interest in me and the girls has deminished (he is angry, verbally aggresive towards me, critisises me constantly, shouts at the girls for really no reason (kids 'r' kids), complains if I haven't done the housework........... the list goes on/it's like living in a mine field. When he comes home I feel sick - I'm waiting for the abuse!. He won't come on holiday with us, he has decided to work over the Christmas period......... which means the girls and I will be away on our own. He won't /hasn't spent one day/half a day with us since he started his business......... Yet, he will take Sunday's off, go down the pub for twelve hours and then spend Monday's in bed recovering (he doesn't take bookings Sun/Mon). I so much want to get-up and leave but don't because my girls adore him... I also work p.time. I'm on the edge and would welcome your thoughts.. ta

He (he is a Peruvian native by the way, and not a resident of the US) married his second wife (she is also peruvian) in Peru two months before the judge finalized our (I'm American) divorce here in the U.S.

He is now seeking a divorce from her, however, and is curious if he can invalidate the marriage by stating he wasn't divorced before he married her. If he does this, will he be charged with Bigamy?

Would it be better just do go through the divorce procedure in Peru and not say anything about the other divorce not being final (he's the only one that knows, she doesn't)?

What would you do?
When two people can look @ each other and melt and know just what the other needs to make them feel a warmth inside that noone can replace but, if trust was broken in the beginning over lying about calling a girl on a regular basis no dating or sex involved (admitted by both) and over the next 7 yrs the two of you marry have a child and TRY to get past it but no matter what something happens to bring you right back to the trust issue if it's him running late, a hang up call or you not being able to reach him do you think we are wasting precious years by holding on? we even divorced 2 yrs ago but we still want let go.

Married for 8 yrs w/ 2 grt girls. I'm a good provider, but due to ignoranace, I neglected her feelings & needs. 4 mnths ago, I was shocked when she said she doesn't love me anymore, and that I should set her free, I was confused. After reading about family, women & their needs, I realized that I caused her to feel that way. I explained to her my ignorance and willingness to change. Now changes are happening in the house, w/c she appreciates, but according to her love is not there anymore. After a few wks being down, but still in love with her, I decided to set her free. When I told her that, she cried and now dont want to leave. Now my problem, is we're still together but she doesn't treat me right, and is always irritated at me. Everyday that I'm showing my affection to her, causes me to get hurt more due to her unfair treatment. She can end our suffering now (either love me again or go). When will this end? Shes 33, is it biological? What's wrong with her? What else does she needs?

My boyfriend set up an account with Adult friend finder but he put that he was in a different state. Of course he said he set this up before we were together and he never paid the membership fee to actually talk to the girls. He used to live in the state that he put he was in. Should I be concerned or just leave it alone?

Is it wrong to think my mom is cheating on my dad? My half-bro has shown me two incriminating text messages on her phone from numbers i don't know. They contain some explicit language. I WILL NOT TALK TO HER ABOUT IT!! But wondering should I assume the worst?

I'm not hurting for sex or anything; the problem is that I'm married (and I'm not here to get bashed for cheating on my wife so please don't waste my or your time) and my wife knows everyone where I live. So I was actually thinking about going on Adultfriendfinder.com. Is it as easy as the ads say or am I better off just going to the club where I'm pretty much guaranteed to hook up.
