My husband will often tease me that I act just like my mother. I will come back with he acts just like his mother. This got me thinking. Does your significant other act just like one of their parents, or like one of your parents? Or is your significant other off on their own path? I'd love to hear other's views on this. Thanks

According to reports, we do marry one of our parents without knowing it because if feels comfortable and is knowing.

My friend at work does not drink and she is very proud of that because her father was a drunk. There were days that she would have to step over her dad to make it to the door to leave for school. However, every boyfriend she has had is a drunk.

My other friend's father was abusive verbally and physically . His mother was very quit and easy going like him. However, he married his father (his new wife), she was verbally/physicall abusive. He gets kicked out the house, she takes his check, is abusive in public and in front of the kids, and often beats on him.

Yes, I truly believe that a majority of us marry our parents without knowing it until later.
