My husband and I have beeen married for a year now, we just celebrated our one year anniversary on the 15th, but I can't get him to have sex with me or to do other sexual acts with me. I am 19 years old, I take care of my body and am in fairly good shape and my husband is 33. When we were dating we used to have sex everyday, if not multiple times a day. And for the first few months we were married we had sex all the time. Now, I am lucky if we have sex once a month, and when we do have sex, my husband refuses to look at me. He only wants to do it when it is doggie-style or when he is laying down behind me. The only sexual thing we do on a regular basis is me performing oral sex on him. And when I am doing that he always has his eyes closed, but when we were dating he loved to watch me do it to him. Don't get me wrong - I love to do that to my husband, but sometimes it would be nice to get that in return, but that has not happened since January 2006. Why is he like this now?

When my younger sister's 25 year old husband died from a car accident (he got hit and killed instantly by a drunk driver on Valentine's Day. They found a bouquet of flowers with a note that said "I love you my darling, my soul mate" in my sister's husbands car so he was going to give them to her when he came home from work but he never made it home. And when my sister found out that her husband passed, my sister collapsed and had heart failure. And she died the following week. I believe her body just shut down because she didn't want to live anymore. Her and her husband have been together since they were 12 years old. They were definately soul mates.
I had a dream about them and in my dream they were together and happy and when I woke up I felt an overwhelming sense of peace.

I have been married for almost 8 years and I want to show my man that I love him without the sex. Sex has become so routine and sometimes inconvienent (aka 4 kids) that I need something else. Any suggestions?

My parents have been married for 19 years this September. My mother is a perfectionist and nothing is ever good enough for her. I'm 16 and I'm the most responsible of all of my friends but she never sees any good in anything.... everything is always wrong. My dad is more passive and just takes the yelling along with everything. They are complete opposites and I'm not sure why they got married in the first place. My mother has decided she's moving out soon as a trial seperation. Is it wrong for me to want them to get a divorce? This whole mess is affecting my younger siblings lives more than mine because I grew up with it. Any advice?

Lots of post on here about the idea of being in or out of "LOVE" and sex issues. I have been married for 11 years. I think too much gets made of sex issues in marriages. It is important but is it a measuring stick of a good marriage. I also think that sometimes the "feeling in love with someone" get blown up so much no one could live up to it. At all times during our marriage I feel a bond with my wife. Maybe a combination of trust, caring, dependability, familiarity, friendship, sex but I do not always feel that intoxicating feeling of “LOVE” for her. At least for us marriage is not always easy thing but we have been able to make it work so far. So what do you think are the keys to a long marriage?

I used to do all the laundry. I especially enjoyed laundering my wifes undies because I would sniff them. Some days it smelled good, other days it smelled better. Now we are divorced and I can no longer do this. Is it wrong for me to miss her because of my olfactory obsession?

While browsing through our pictures folder, I accidentally discovered old pornographic photos of my husband and his old girlfriend. The pictures are from before my husband and I got together, so this is not an indication of infidelity. I am not opposed to porn, so the porn is not the issue. It's one thing to see some attractive strangers have sex. It is another to see images of your husband having sex with another woman. I feel hurt and betrayed because he had five years to get rid of those pictures.

I confronted him as soon as he came home from work. He took responsibility for his actions and apologized. He is genuinely sorry to have hurt me. But I still feel unattractive and insecure about our relationship. Is there a non-religious book or website that might be able to help? Most of the readily available advice is religious in nature, but that does not apply to me because I am not religious. I am looking for a secular approach to dealing with porn-related issues within marriage.

Married 6 years , have a 2 year old and a 6 month old. Was in a long distance relationship ONLY with my spouse before we got married. I am on parental leave from work until January. Feels like I am a housecleaner , errand boy , babysitter , cook , cleaner , slave etc... but not a husband. I resent her very much and I am tired of living this way... She denies there's any problem and scoots around my idea of marriage counciling. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I recently found a email dated in August that my husabnd forgot to delete telling his ex-wife how much he loves her and thinks about her everyday, they do not have any children together, their marriage only lasted a little over a year. I confronted him about the email as I was very upset, he said he wants to be be with me and that he knows it would never work with her. We have been married for 5 years, is this some kind of emotional affair?

I broke up with my boyfriend of several years and started seeing someone soon after. I broke up with him because we were fighting all of the time. He is a good guy though. Now I find myself thinking about my ex all of the time. I haven't heard from him in something like seven months. I broke his heart when I broke up with him. I am still seeing the new guy but I always think of my ex. Is this normal? Has anyone else been through this? What should I do?

Ok, so I have an issue. I'm not really sure what to do....any advice would really be great. I am married with 2 kids (3 and 20 months). I've been married for about 4 years now, together for 5. We were kind of forced into getting married a little bit. I wasn't ready to I was only 21, but I did anyway. I ended up cheating one time, but it wasn't just a one night thing, we actually reallly liked each other. I could say that I loved him. We stopped talking and just started talking again. I really like him still and I know that the feelings are REALLY mutual. I don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP!!

a month later the woman killed her own sister.

why did she kill her sister?

I am so pissed off right now...would it be immature of me to put a card in the door of his apartment that states "Thank You...for the STD?"

I want to damage something...but I know that it's not worth it. Would a card work? He has a roomate and it would be possible for him to see it...That would be funny to me...

he responded... what do I get? and she wrote back " ha ha..." Earlier this year my husband admitted to having an emotional affair with a co-worker. We have gone through counseling and I was under the impression that he is really working hard at saving this marriage and then I found this.... What do you make of it. Am I getting upset over nothing?

I have been married for 4 yrs. My husband and I each have a seperate account and a joint account , we also have seperate credit cards. I am a spender , my husband is a saver. He took my personal credit cards as well as personal debit card because he said I was spending too much money. We both work full time and are by no means hurting for money. I feel he is treating me like a child. Do I have the right to be mad??????

I did ask this question earlier but i see there r different people on now.
