My husband was blocking me from entering our house. I was trying to get around him when he pushed me down 2 stairs. I did not fall down but I lost my balance and stumbled down the two stairs and dropped the dvd player that I was holding.

My wife won't believe me that a relationship I had with a work colleague was just as friends, but was more and wants me to take a lie detector test. I'm beginning to resent her for not believing me and feel just the suggestion of the test is a negative step even though I have done nothing to suggest I'd fail it.

I always have to get mad at my husband before he will do his share of the chores. If I have to get mad at him then I would rather he not do anything. It is like I am MAKING him do his part. I already have two kids. I don't need a third. I need a partner.

I'm the last person to call homophobic so let's just get that out of the way right now; but I find it strange that my husband (2 years married, 5 together) hangs out with his gay co-worker almost every day after work... wouldn't this be awkward for a straight and gay man to "hang out" frequently, or is it totally normal and I'm a paranoid schizophrenic?

Sometimes he acts like a girl too if one of his friends blows him off to hang out... he brushes it off like he doesn't want to hang out with them anyways, but he just cuts a fit like his feelings are hurt.

Recently I found out that my husband had sex with another girl. We have two children together. He was really sorry and begged me to take him back. So I did. He promised it was just that one time, but how do I know for sure? People tell me that he is a lucky man because they would not have stayed with him. But I had no way to support me and my children, and I still love him despite what he did.
So whenever he goes anywhere, I still wonder what he's doing and if he's going to cheat again. He's been really nice and good to us, and I don't think he's cheated again, but how do I stop worrying?

He also seems hurt if I bring up the subject. Should I just let it go?
I don't think I can...

My husband and I have been married three years and got into an argument this morning. He has never hit me until today, and he bloodied my nose. I don't understand this reaction from him and wouldn't say I am in an abusive marriage but this has really shocked and hurt me. Is this abuse? Should I leave him for this?

So when two men marry, whose surname do they take? Or do they keep their original surnames? Not being funny here, I'm actually genuinely curious.

My husband sent me an email today telling me that if I do not lose weight by January, he is leaving me. Is it just me or is this f**ked up? I have gained a little over 30 pounds. I do want to lose it, but I have been so stressed and busy that I have lost interest in going to the gym. It hurts me that my own husband would say this to me. I don't even know what to say to him. I have always struggled with weight so this is a sensitive topic for me. He has been asking me for a couple of months to lose weight, but it doesn't motivate me...it just makes me mad. Do you think this means he doesn't love me? I'm not sure how to read into this. Basically his email said that he does not want a fat wife and that he is begging me to lose weight. I am so hurt right now. Does anyone have any advice?

Why is there so much infidelity and divorce rate so high? Why dont relationships last and why do people have so many negative views on marriage kids? With one out of two marriages ending up in divorce why even get married? Is co habitation (living with someone) a better solution? Should unmarried couples even have kids?

Me and my husband have been married over a year now.
He rarely spends time with me, he is always working on his car or drinking with his buddy's. I always make an honest effort to spend time with him and do stuff that he likes. He dos'ent do the same for me, he hates doing stuff i like. so we don't do anything together.
He gets so mad at me for going off shoping or hanging out with my friends ( I like to go,He likes to stay home). Then when we are around each other we end up fighting about stupid stuff. He is'ent romantic he don't like making love to me, I have to beg him.
He just likes to f**k. I feel like im the only one in the relationship.
I told him that if he don't want to make me happy I can make myself happy. He said that it hurt his feelings when i said that, I alway end up appoligizing and feeling guilty.
what should i do?

Since my husband and I divorced 15 years ago, he and his family have done everything they can to poison my children against me. It's so bad that he has told them that if they have any contact with me, he will disown them, and cut them out of his will. Now, my children are all grown and on their own, and it still haunts me. Just this morning, my 18 year old son called and told me that he wasn't sure if he could come visit me for Thanksgiving, because he was afraid of incurring the wrath of his father. I'm sick and tired of dealing with this, and add to it the fact that I have never said an ill word to the children about their father, and that just makes it more unfair. I'm just completely heartbroken over this, and I know that my children also suffer the pain of feeling like they have to "take sides". I just don't know how to cope with this anymore......

I have been married for 9 years and just recently went back to work part-time. I find myself wanting rather to be at work , than at home with my kids and husband. I work closely with this one guy and am falling for the , i hope, harmless flirting. My husband and I work opposite shifts, so could it be that maybe i'm using this guy as a crutch for my emotional needs? Has anyone ever been in this type of situation, and how did you handle it?

My bf and i are living together for more than 2 years now. Relationship wise, we're great. We're almost living like a married couple, just w/o the legal contract. Only 1 thing we disagree on. I want to be married 1st b4 buying a house and he wants it the other way around. His logic is this: Him buying a house will give him self assurance that He can support a family in the future if we do get married.

Is the only way to prevent divorce is to not get married in the first place? If nobody got married does that mean that divorce lawyers would not have a job? I mean in america I don't think many marriages are arranged. Also, women seem to more independent that its not nessary for them to get married like it was a long time ago.
