I think you are reading into his friendship far too much.
If you see him looking at other guys to see how good looking they are, then you might have something. But straight and gay men who like to hang out at the bar are harmless.
As far as his being offended by a cancellation, men today are much more sensitive. I would not read that as gay either. I am sensitive too and I am not gay. I have gay friends but that does not make me gay either.
Take care,
Troy

Hey there is nothing wrong with hanging out with your best friend, straight, gay, bisexual, guy or girl. I have to say that it is a little weird that he's acting just like a gay guy, and there is no doubt he's getting it from his friend and maybe because he's spending too much time with him. Still I have to say; the questions that will solve this are: Is your husband neglecting you guys relationship and is it because of his gay friend?
Have to talk to him and express what you feel, what is his reaction and has he cared enough to do anything about your relationship?

It is a little weird that he is hanging out with a gay man. The only reason I say that is typically, gay men get along with women more than men. I just do not see why a straight man would want to hang out with someone who is gay unless he is gay himself. If he is gay, you should already know. P.S. I do not know many gay people, hence I am going by the stereotypes. This entire post is written by a man who is quite ignorant. If this message is ignorant, I apologize to all.

I am not one to pass judgement on anyone, lest judgement be passed on to me as well; therefore I won't jump to conclusions about what your husband might really be doing or thinking. Nonetheless, since I know that women have a 6th sense about things relating to their spouses or significant others.....I think you should go with your instincts. I can tell you feel that something is rotten in denmark....and you just can't put your finger on it, but you've got you antennas up. Your husband might have either some skeletons in his closet or he might be searching for the answer to a curiousity he's perhaps had since his youth.....or this "gay" friend, as you put it, is just a real cool guy to hang out with. At the same time, the fact that you've obviously had plenty of time to think about this sitaution and come up with your own scenarios tells me that it's time for you to clear everything up so you can put your fears to rest. The magic word is Communication.....if that doesn't work, follow him around like a stalker until you find out the truth.
Best of Luck!

How long do they hang out? I get that your not homophobic so what does it matter that his co-worker is gay? How long has he worked with this fellow? Obviously your husband is fully secure in his sexuality and doesn't judge others based on their sexual preference. Unless you have an issue of trust or suspect something is going on that shouldn't be I wouldn't worry about it.

Girl be glad he is hanging out with men instead of women co workers. I would much rather prefer that, even if they are gay.

you're a paranoid schizophrenic.
i have gay friends and they are fun and we hang out a lot and there are no questions about my sexuality. do you have a kid? notice when s/he hangs out with someone often, s/he starts talking like them? does it mean that the child is morphing into the friend? no, it means you are a paranoid schizophrenic.

You had better keep your antennae up and look for an opportune time to broach the subject or simply tell him you dont feel comfortable with his friend. if your spouse cannot be honest and frank with you who can? Take the Bull by the horn for your peace of mind.
