Marriage & Divorce - 20 October 2006

My question is , that I am running out of patience. I really want him to ask me to marry him. I don't want to push the issue, but I am getting tired of waiting. In my heart he is the man for me. I believe he loves me. I have always dreamend of having the man I love ask me to marry him, so I don't want to ask him. I have been down lately, and he keeps asking me what's wrong. I tell him nothing, but really I am depressed because he hasnt't asked me to marry him yet. How long should I wait? Should I push the issue, or just wait and see what happens. I am 28 and don't want to wait much longer

myself and my husband were living separately due to some problems. now by next month we r going to join together after a counscelling. i fell very much embarrassed about it. nearly it was 11/2 years period we didnt speak with each other. many things happened between us. now when i think of getting back to him , i could not not able explain how i feel , how to get through it.

My fiance cheated on me and I have forgiven him. We are now in the process of trying to rebuild our relationship. He has told the other girl that he does not want to be with her. Now the other girl is harassing me (calling me nonstop) and is harrassing my man (she is calling him nonstop). I realize that this is my man's responsibility to get rid of this situation.

What should I do??? Sometimes I just want to cuss her out...but for now...I am just leaving it alone and not answering my phone.

Will this girl ever leave us alone???

Has anyone ever been in a similar situation? What have you done???

I had been with my Ex for about 9 yrs. off and on. However we started having some issues, and it became a very abusive relationship. I have decided to move on, and now he tries to make up his own rules for visitation. He is basically trying to use my son to get to me. For example, I was supposed to get my son last Tues. Up until my Ex found out that I may be starting a new relationship, he has been meeting half-way as far as transportation goes. He lives about 45 mins. away. Now, all of a sudden, for the last three Tues. visits, he has had an axcuse why he can't meet me. Last Tues. I offered to provide transportation both ways because his Mom has become very ill with cancer. When I called his cellphone, his sister answered. She said that my Ex was still at work, she had my son, and that I just shouldn't bother with Tues. because they were having a problem transporting. Then when I told her that I was coming to get my son and she threatened to press charges on me for tresspas

He was never going to tell me because he says he loves me. We have been married for 15 years and had the "perfect" marriage. I am still his best friend and he says that I did absolutely nothing wrong. He says he lost the "spark" and the "magic". I love him and do want the best for him. My question is : He said to me "If I wanted to try again, How do you see it working?" Please guys help. What is he really saying? I think I know but I want to hear from someone that speaks men-language.

I found what may be a perfect guy... to a point.
He's kind, intelligent, refined, good-looking, comes from a backgound of nobility, and cares about humanity etc...

The only problem is that in the future, he wants to be a scholar. While this may have been a profession plausible for someone in the Victorian Age, he doesn't have the money to support himself unless he becomes a teacher... and even then it's really blue-collar wages.

I'll probably have to be the one keeping us out of blue-collar if we get married, and finances will be a huge concern for me.

Do you think I should marry him (since finances seems to be the only problem here) or should I wait to find a guy more in my... salary range?

One of my best friends is getting a divorce. He has asked me to talk to his wife.

His wife has never liked me, and it's no secret that I've ever liked her. She is acting very unreasonable, and I know if I go, there is a good chance I will say something that will just hurt the chance of my bud getting back with his wife. So I don't think I should go and get in the middle of it

However, she wont listen to him at all, and honestly, he has not done anything to deserve this. He can't get in touch with her, and he is begging to talk to her.

What to do what to do? I don't want to let him down, but I don't want to make things worse. I also don't want her to think he sent me to talk because he's scared or something.

Because my phone was always dropping calls and roaming Cingualr dropped me without having to pay a cancellation fee. But, I had just bought a $200.00 phone and had to switch they should buy used phones back if that's the case and pay for other services of changing to another carrier. Few Drop Calls yeah right a lot dropped customers!! Cingular sucks.

My husband & I are seperated. We have been trying to keep things friendly for our daughters sake. But he sort of threatened me last night & now I'm scared. His brothers are in this country illegally & I am planning on getting a restraining order to keep his brothers away from my daughter, because they have made threats about sending her to Syria in the past. Last night we were discussing the divorce & making plans to file. He asked me what a restraining order was & after I explained it to him he freaked out. He told me if I filed a restraining order, my life wouldnt be worth a minute. He got reall crazy-eyed & said don't "F" with arabic blood you understand or you will regret it!!! He left & told me if I reported anything, I wouldn't be around to see what happened. Any help how I should handle this? Thanks

I am married with a man who been cheated me several times but i always been pacient for the sake of our child, we have one daughter who is 1 and half year old now. And i ve meet my ex boy friend two days ago and we were able to sat down and talk many things and we found out how much we really missed each other, he told me that he been very inlove with me and i did the same, and we decided to change our phone number and we did meet today agin. we just been walking up to the mountain and talk for 3 hours. I am not afraid that my husband will find it out that i have contact with him again but i am more afraid for my step daughter because i dont want that she gets hurt, i think that i will hurt her more than her father if they found out about my ex bf. we have had so many arguements with my husband for the pass few days. And he say that he wants to move out with his daugther i don\t know if i should let him go because i am thinking about my child. i had a great time today with my ex.

I have been in a relationship with a man for a few years now and he is married with one child! :( He initially told me when we met they were getting divorced once she was settled..it hasn't happened... My heart is so far into it I was devastated but have not found the strength to move on.

He swears he is in love with me and wants to be with me but is that really possible? He only has one child and I see no reason for him not to make a decision if his feelings are so strong. Is it possible for someone to have an affair and really love the "other woman"? Or am I fooling myself and just a convenient piece for him.

I want to believe he really loves me? So much time invested...we talk everyday, business trips together, started a business together, I know and do so much with him. His wife has no idea about me.

Its breaking my heart I also feel bad for her. So crazy!

I am having to live with my soon to be ex husband until he agrees to a reasonable % of our home to leave. He has removed everything of his (and some of mine) and put it in his room, and added a mortice lock. He was arrested on Sept 11th for ABH on me and although I try to be brave I am scared of him. My room is on the ground floor and he now wants to get into the garden. I have said no, as I want some privacy today ( i dont feel well and just want quiet) and he is going loopy! I can hear him crashing about calling me names. He cant get in here as it is well barricaded! Its ok for him to lock himself in but not me!! An injunction order is due in the mail tomorrow so I dont want to face him before that. I could go out but am sick and tired of running away! Give me some strength please. Thanks

I have been with my fiance for 5 years.. we're still pretty young and just starting our life together. He has a bank account and I recently told him we need a joint bank account. We live together and have 2 children... I am a stay at home mom. I have to ask him for every penny I want or need. He expects me to get the bills paid but I have to get him to sign the checks before I can send them out. I play roller derby so I am gone 2 or 3 nights a week for a couple of hours.. sometimes the other girls and I stop at a sports bar for a beer and some food on the way home. I have to ask him for money for that too. I dont need to work and I'd rather stay at home.. how can I get him to understand that I need to have access to the money just as he does. Its not like we are just boyfriend and girlfriend. We are engaged and have a family and a house and a life together. We have had 3 fights about this over the past two weeks and I feel it will continue to happen until something changes. Please help

She says the most cruel and hateful things about this cute little Vietnamese girl that I've been dating, and she doesn't even know her. She was the same way towards this one Italian girl, 2 different black girls and even a Puerto Rican girl, and my wife IS Puerto Rican! My husband's best friend has been really flirty lately and even though i am pregnant he is trying to have sex with me. Should i tell my husband or will he think i am lying. Should i tell him that i am uncomfortable being around his best friend. Do you think i wuold be better off telling the bestfriend's girlfriend or will that just start a fight?
