It may be odd if it was something that had recently changed without any known reason, but you said it has been that way since the beginning. Different people have different sex drives, and it is a norm in society that a man is expected to have a high sex drive. It sounds that your husband is a large man, is it possible that he may have issues with his weight (self conciousness or insecurities about his physical apperance)? I wouldn't assume that he is doing anything deceitful behind your back , which I am sure many people will tell you that if he isn't doing it with you, he is with someone else. If he is affectionate toward you in non sexual ways, I wouldn't be worried. If your needs are higher than his, you may have to buy a vibrator and take care of yourself. If that is not acceptable for you and you do need more activity, you are going to deceide whether or not you want to spend your life this way.

The libido of an individual varies greatly, and for a few men it could be normal. However, I suspect this is not the case. Many men in their 60s can have sex twice a day. I would suspect that there are othe causual factors, dis-enchantment with his partner, masturbation or perhaps a undisclosed health problem. Weight is certainly a possible factor, as many obese men have a low sex drive. Alcohol and even smoking can reduce sex drive as well as many drugs. Drugs such as Viagra will NOT change the problem. There may also be psychological issues involved extending to childhood abuse and even latent homosexuality. Without seeing or interviewing the individual, I can not possibly fathom an answer. You need to address the problem to a professional health care specialist in your own area.

Some people (men included) do not have a high sex drive. Yes every other month for sex seems to be low but are you waiting for him to initiate sex. that may be all he needs however if you want it more often take the bull by the horn and hop on. Even if he is tired and doesnt want to do it if you get it started he will finish it. good Luck

yes they have low sex drives but only because they have so much fat and obesity problems. he should lose some weight. once every two months since the beginning is strange but if they are truly happy like that and nobody is cheating on anybody then thats fine. however its outside the norm especially for beginning married couples.

for some not for all.
Depends on his blood pressure and his libido.
Often men of that wieght have a low sex drive because they have high blood pressure which may affect his ability to get an erection. Or it may simply be a feeling of low self esteem, which will affect his libido about jhis weight or a combination of the both.
I encourage you to check with a medical professional, as he may be a candidtae for Viagra or cialas which will not only boost the libido but the erection

I agree with weatherman. I'm seeing an older, heavier man who has the libido of a 14 year old. His low libido is indicative of deeper seated issues, which, if you don't want to go batshit crazy, I suggest you sit down with him (and a therapist, if need be) to discuss.
PS--April G, 275 isn't morbidly obese on some men, bear in mind she said the man is 45, as in AGE, not 4'5".

This weight seems obese providing he is average height. Are there medical problems contributing to this?
How many times a married couple has sex doesn't matter as long as they are BOTH happy with the frequency.

It is very likely for a man that age and size to have low mobility period. But it is also very likely for him to have some high points as well such as: cholestorol, bloodpressure and BMI (body mass index).
