I have a much higher sex drive than my husband of five years (he’s 51, I’m 46). I have learned that I can’t initiate sex because he feels threatened or out of control or something like that. I end up feeling unwanted and rejected. How do I put this guy in the mood without him knowing that is what I am doing, so that he thinks it is his idea and gets back his animal instinct?

That you were going to get married. I mean, after meeting them for the first time. This has happened to two close relatives of mine (girls) and I want to know how rare this is...

By the way, they are both married to those men who said that...

It's my first wedding anniversary in Oct and I'm thinking I would like to get a gift for my wife from the traditional list. The first anniversary item is paper. Any ideas what I could buy that would fit the category of paper? I'm thinking a trip, as in paper plane tickets, but looking for ideas from others.

As in- a married man keeps a mistress, what does a married woman have?

Married for 4yrs to HS sweethart--been with him for 10yrs. He is the only guy I've ever been with. One of our friends is an old bf of mine from my earlier years in HS. Recently, we hung out while my husband was working late. We got drunk and had some inappropriate conversations about what we would both like to do if I wasn't married. Nothing happened then, but I'm not sure it won't happen in the future. I love my husband, but I think I'm doing this because I never really experienced anyone else. Any advise???

How much will it affect in a relationship having different culture?

My husband, now that the whole story of his affair is out, is telling me he is so sorry, loves me and only me and wants to do ANYTHING to make our marriage work. Before I knew about the affair, he kept saying he wanted to work it out but wasn't really trying. Truth is he'd already been having this "sexual" affair for 4 months. He said he has no feelings for her and doesn't know why he did it except the flirtation and all got the best of him. I just don't know if I can forgive him. If your spouse had an affair and confessed all, promised to change things and work it out, could you move past it, have you moved past it?

My ex husband and I divorced with a "common' agreement. With both of our incomes, he was suposed to pay $307 monthly. After a couple of months, I married again, my husband's a member of the Armed Forces, so we had to move from Florida to Virginia.
Now, my ex husband arguess he doesn't have to pay for child support because they don't spend time with him(they spent one month in Florida this Summer) and he has another child in the way.
I want him out of my life, but I don't think it's fear for my kids, or my husband that's providing for them now.
My ex calls me every day, several times, telling me not to go to child suport agancies, not to **** him up, he tells me if he goes to jail for no paying child support it's going to be my fault, he even said that he'll give up his parental right because he "can't handle child support'.
It makes me sick to my stomach,I wish he'll disapear..but I also know that my kids deserve the litte extra income he owes them.
Am I being selfish? unfair?

A man or woman should wait before they start dating, after they have gotten a divorce? One month? Six months? A year? It interests me, cause I have one friend that has been divorced for 6 months, and claims he isn't ready to date. He's 43 and has been married for a while. Then I have another friend, she's 24, and she has been divorced not even a month, and she's ready to start dating. She was in a worse marriage than he was. Her ex-husband use to beat her up and cheat on him.My male friend's "bad" marriage lasted a lot longer than her's. What are your thoughts?

what grounds does a man seeking custody need to get primary custody for himself and supervised visitation for the mother.

I left my emotionally abusive spouse 3 months ago and now he is trying to get the kids. What should I expect for him to be trying to use as grounds and what defence do I have?

Also he is in the military. not sure what bearing that has on anything but I want to give as many details as possible

My wife and I are seperated. she has kicked me out for my brother. For the first three weeks I was not allowed to see my kids, because I might be some kind of "threat". My family is my world. When I am away all I talk about just about is them. I love her and beleive that she has been horribley manipulated (while not innocent!). They collectively are the loves of my life outside of God of course.

Still a lot of fights going on and the wife has said we're back to square one in our relationship. If I want it to progress forward I have to start all over.

How hard do you think I would get slapped if I shook her hand goodnight and said "Thank you for the very nice day?" LOL

Wellllll.......... isn't that starting back at square one?

to do her pedicures. She was polite about it. I guess I'm not real good at it. At least she let me down easy. Do you have a hard time letting someone down easy? Or do you take it badly?

My husband has physical custody of his two children. Thier mom left them in 2001, got married, moved to AZ and had 4 more kids. My stepchildren feel abandoned by thier mother. Anway- its been 2 years since she last saw them, and about 3 months since has spoken to them. We have retained an attorney, and in the process of trying to get sole custody of the children. Thoughout the two years, she has attempted to see the kids... by threating to steal them, kill my husband and I, threats left on the machince- thus resulting to never visiting them for thier own protection. Many times, arrgements has been made where she has agreed, and not show up. Also, has not paid any child support she is court orderd to do.Long story short- she is asking for a supervised visitation... wherer would a supervised visitation take place? This woman has a lot of tricks up her sleeve- I am afraid that she may hurt the children physically & mentally.
