For me... I Put asside all the good times we had & sat down & analized the WHOLE relationship.....all the hell he put me through.. how he had NO reason to do so... how a relationship is suppose to be 50-50 & it was more like 90-10! how he cheated on me, lied to me, etc.....
I came to the conclusion that he is just a BIG LOOSER, @$$hole & that I deserved much better & could do soo much better.
It's been 12 years since we broke up.. I ran into him 2 years ago & talked with him...Well he hasn't changed a bit ! Still lying, playing with womens feelings, hearts & emotions, & being a lazy@$$... What I ever saw in him I truly do not know!
I thank God for the "real" man that he blessed me with... 6 years ago today! & Thank God for waking me up!
You may not think it right now.. But there is someone that God has JUST FOR YOU! Don't let this get you all down! Life is Great!

I had to get mad at him but not contact him just get mad. I think it's one of the natural phases of grieving a loss like a loved one. I'm sorry this happened to you. It happened to me once, but I learned something from it. It was the first time I experienced someone braking up with me instead of me being the "bad guy". Believe it or not I was a little grateful for now relating to my other girlfriends who have been dumped. Anyways, time really does heal all wounds. Keep telling yourself that each day that goes by is one day closer to when you will meet the man of your dreams. The one who will love you unconditionally and never want to be apart! Good Luck Sweetie!

Try your best not to think about it. It is hard but there are better things out there in the world that you could be doing than dragging over a relationship that went bad. Hobbies and friends are the best things.

Searched online for a new gf and possible wife. But I did consider sucicide at times, even by way of staying in the car, among the fumes, after a car accident. But I was ordered out of the car. Also I moved twice.

A rebound hookup is a classic,but hardly ever a good idea...unless it's with a guy like me.
Time is the only cure...hang out with friends, they'll remind you of what a good person you really are.
Spend some time alone too....that might not sound like such a good idea, but it'll remind ya of who you are.

Lost a ton of weight, and I look fantastic. I know it kills him to see me looking so good. Feeling and looking good, and time, helped me get over the break up. I'd still like something bad to happen to him though....

It took me awhile, but I finally got over myself, started getting out & making friends. I've met some really nice ladies, too. It's a bit too soon to say where it'll lead, but who knows?
