All the "other women" I've known seem to romaniticize and idealize the life that the wife and husband lead. They dont realize what living with someone you dont trust, respect or even love is like. just living together because of the kids.

Any perspectives on why they do this? From people who've experienced this only please

he expects sex when and how he wants it ,so why shouldnt a woman. in a marriage it is supposed to be equal, not only satisfy him and you get left out in the cold. frustrated and alone. why are men so selfish?

a man tells his wife he's leaving every time he gets really mad, but never does. she continues to do house duties, care for him and gives him his space without affecting what she wants to do. later he tries talking to her, nicely but can't admit he's wrong. she sort of feels sorry for him knowing he grew up without a man in the home and has had many failed relationships in the past. does it sound like he's staying out of obligation or because he is now learning how compassionate his wife is (that she can care for him in the good and bad times)?

I am considering marrying the man I love. But what is holding me back is the fear of divorce. Half the population is divorced, and marriages constantly fail after one, five, or even twenty years. What causes so many marriages to fail after so many years? What can I do to avoid it? I want to do this right... I may be young (23), but I do not want to be foolish.

I'm 54 and my wife is 49. She seems to have absolutely no interest in sex. She is a night owl, and I'm an early bird, so we only spend one or two hours in bed together anyway. I've tried to explain my needs to her, but she's not hearing it. She doesn't understand why everybody is not like her.

you have an adorable and smart daughter who adores both of you so much. she loves this family.
you have a wonderful family and friends who think you've found the right man and live happily. however, the marriage is not what it seems to be. you settled with your husband but you think you no longer love him cos you both incompatible and argue a lot. nothing helps! you just stay and hold on as long as you possibly can cos you can't make decision right now. you're so confused. perhaps you both could be better as time moves on or maybe will get divorce one day. you completely have no idea!

Your husband is a family man who is responsible and cares about his family. you too! but you both have nothing in common, both temperamental, argue.. argue and only argue.
we try everything to work out this realtionship but things never get any better.

a good friend of mine is going through a divorce which seems to be taking quite some time. She has two children and now lives about 112 miles from her soon to be ex. she is dating other men and he is seeing other women. is it wrong for her to date without being legally divorced, should she put her life on hold until everything is finalized or go on with her life and continue dating?

Ok I've been in a lesbian relationship since I was 14 till now (20) With a wonderful lady, she's always been great to me and everyway, we had an increadable connection, never fought. I got cancer and she was there doing everything she could, more than expected, I asked her to leave me because I didnt feel it fair her doing this and not getting her needs met. she refused and insisted she wasnt building resentments. Well I got better and got raped at about the same time she was supportive when the rape came up but also very angery. Shortly afterwards she starts not wanting me to dress up or wear makeup, calls me stupid, gets agressive, not hurting but hitting out of anger hard but not hurting, she hates me spending time away from her, doesnt touch me and complains if I dont "touch" her every other day, she thinks my friends are brain washing me to think shes abusive, she finds every reason to not want me to hangout with them, but wont come out and say u cant see them, So is it abuse?

My husband wants to have sex everyday, and I like sex but sometimes after a hard days work I want to relax and watch tv or something but the minute I do relax or spend time with him he immediately wants to have sex. I am not complaining but just saying can I have a day or two without it maybe I'll miss it more, but I just keep giving it up so I never have to think he is getting it somewhere, but he makes me feel guilty when I say I am tired. Any advice

We've been married 32 years, the kids are gone, we fight all the time because I'm on her nerves. She tells me to get off her fuking back all the time. Had a fight tonight and she's in a motel room unless I want to talk and save the marriage. Otherwise, "she doesn't know what is going to happen next". Anyone want to chat and tell me WHY I should continue to salvage a relationship when it's always going downhill? It would be nice to talk to someone.

One of my friends is a senior, in high school, and she is getting married, to a guy who just graduated high school. They been going out a year or two I guess. They aren't even old enough to know what true love is. I think they are each others first boy friend and first girlfriend. Should I just sit back and let them make there own mistake or should I put my two cents in about how I feel. Please tell me what you would do if this was one of your friends.
