I am going to be 17 in three weeks. and my wife will be 18 in two months. We live in Califrnia with her parents. We are expecting a child in three weeks. We went to vegas and our parents signed us over to be married. We have been told so many things. but we are still confused as to what our rights really are.

You are considered adults except for limits on drinking booze That you must be whatever the legal drinking age in the state you are living in. The control her parents may exercise on the two of you is because you are living with them. If the two of you can support yourselves You can be on your own. Don't let them bully You.

This is so sad. You are still dependent on her parents and now you will be a parent.

Instead of asking about your RIGHTS... how about you start worrying about your RESPONSIBILITIES.
