If you are not happy with this type of communication, then she needs to respect that. Suggest that she communicate with her work friends during work time, not while at home with you. You need to lay the ground rules, but not in the way that says "you can't talk to him" because she will just turn against you. If she doesn't respect your wishes, then you make it clear it will upset you and that it will affect your marriage.

Why not send some fake messages of your own?

It sounds like she has emotionally attached herself to someone else - which is the same as an affair without the sex. The reason is why? Attention, anger, depression or something else? As her husband, find out what she really needs from you without sounding accusatory. She needs to know that you are interested in her and your relationship.

Rapport. And it's time to lay down the law. If she loved and respected you she wouldn't do something that makes you so uncomfortable. Any kids? Own a house? If not maybe it's time to say goodbye
