I'm 54 and my wife is 49. She seems to have absolutely no interest in sex. She is a night owl, and I'm an early bird, so we only spend one or two hours in bed together anyway. I've tried to explain my needs to her, but she's not hearing it. She doesn't understand why everybody is not like her.

Find out what turns your wife on? What are your wife needs? Have you ever asked her? The fact that your making it all about you and your needs is probably turning her off big time. If a woman is shut down emotionally then she not going to open up to you sexually.
Your wife sounds pissed off and you are being punished. She wants you to communicate with her. You need to talk her, maybe romance her. Make her feel loved and you'll get loved like you've never felt.

Your problem stated a long time ago when You left things fall apart between you. Being married is much more than sharing expenses. What happened to the common interest thins you once shared?? When did the interest in sex decline?? Does the appearances influence things?? Perhaps your performance turned her off so you need to rekindle the old fires. Take her off her schedule and change yours a little to have more time together and share evenings not get through them alone.

david. Mix it up a bit. Get in the best shape of your life. Leave flowers around the house. Be romantic. It is all about her wanting you right now, but you not loosing yourself. Be the lion not the lamb.

romance, and lots of complements. if you take your time in the bedroom maybe she will become more interested. invest time in her and the sex will start up again. also if she is not showing interest try some new tricks even surprise her with sex toys and lotions.

She's 49 so she's likely going to menapause... just hang in there... this phase will pass in a few years.
