Family - June 2007

My step son is 15...he has lived with me and his dad since he was 5. I have seen some stuff talked about on myspace that I don't approve of. Plus I think he is sneaking over to his girlfriends house while I am at work. Since I am the step mom, there is not much I can say. I trust him to a point but he is a 15 year old boy and I don't want him making any mistakes. I can't keep my mind off of what he is doing- any advice? I know I should let his dad handle it but again- he's a guy too and you know how they are with their sons!! Am I stuck between a rock and a hard place or what? Not to mention,,,his mom pushes for him to be with his girlfriend. she takes him over there! I think she just wants him to like her and to be his friend

i am a jehovah's witness and we don't do wild things like talke about sex and stuff like that that's why i am not apart of the crowd but my sister is she is almost popular she is 18 and all of the guys just love and trust she is not a virgin but i still am how do i get people to like me even though i am a jehovah's witness or better yet how do get over being jealous of my sister just because she is a wild chick and i'm not, do i just be myself or do i become just like her? me and my older brother are extremely close. we tell each other everything and spend a lot of time together, its almost like we're best friends. Recently, iv started to find him quite attractive and when hot guys come up to me and sound interested i start to think to myself "will they treat me as well as my brother does?" etc!!
i really want help on this situation because it's frustrating me and im getting quite upset over it, i should be enjoying my teenage years with boys and not mis judging them!! i know its a strange situation and i would really like some help on it!! What can i do??!?!?!?

Crime 1:

I dropped two cheetos on the floor by accident, because it was the bottom of the bag and there are a lot of small pieces at the bottom, and because I was watching television while I was pouring. That day I also took the last brownie and piece of pizza, and didn't put the brownie tray into the dishwasher and didn't throw out the pizza box.

Punishment

Does it make any sence that I should have to sweep the whole kitchen floor, do the kitty litter, sweep the laundry room, throw away the pizza box, clean the brownie container, and be grounded for the rest of the day and all of the next day from the computer, ps2, and television?

Crime 2:

My sister clogs the toilet and leaves it there for days and days so she doesn't have to plunge it.

Punishment:

If I want to take a shower without the bathroom stinking I have to plunge it myself even when my sister is right there and refuses to do it. I didn't plunge it, of course, and my "parent" won't make her.

My wife and I have been thinking about moving from our small town of 3,000 people to the Minneapolis/St.Paul area. We both have great careers and our kids love living in our small town. But we both feel we can do so much better, emotionally and financialy in the big city. Our kids are 4 and 8. They are both very good kids, very out going, smart, energetic and make friends very easily.

My wife and I feel that we have so much more we can offer our relationship and our family in the big city. We have no family and very few friends in our small town. Sometimes it seems that we might be being selfish by moving away.

Great...just great. I am going to a beach house this weekend hoping to get away from all my worries and drama. But now I find out the worst thing. I have to spend it watching my little cousin and her friend. They are only a year or two younger than me but are so immature. I was going to finish writing articles for this magazine but now I can't. And I can't bring a friend because it's not my beach house. I don't know what to do. Any ideas? They are 11. Thanks.

My wife's niece is NOT my blood relation - so please don't start with the judgemental incest rubbish okay!!

I slept with her niece. I was very drunk and a bit lonely (due to a rough period with my wife this year) This niece is as hot as Jessica Alba with Pam Anderson brains. On saturday the house party went on til 3am and I ended sleeping in a back bedroom next to some coats. Her niece came in to kick me out so hse could sleep and I sat up and we spoke for an hour and ended up tickling and pillow fighting. The next thing I knew we were kissing.

Actually it was really romantic and she was a mutha in bed. I think that her niece would like to hook up again as she just called me at work.

What would be a good reason to need to go to her niece's house over the next few days? How can I make it seem natural?

I am stuck living with my mom and dad for awhile, about to graduate college.

My father does multiple things that are annoying.

1. Buys gift certificates for a pizza place on the internet and the pizza is terrible. Nobody in the house lieks it either.

2. Does the worst job ever on the laundry and grilling. He overflows the washing machine and shrinks all my shirts. Even when I tell him how to do the laundry correctly he doesn't listen. I am forced to make sure my laundry does not wind up with his and hide them from him. He also burns everything on the grill, so I am just going to take the grilling duties away from him.

3. Does not help me at all when something goes wrong in life. Impossible to talk to with any problems and will not listen. Only talks about himself and is constantly revealing too much information to people and trying to fix me up with my sisters friends. It creates a very awkward and embarssing scene.

Any tips to deal with my dad?

without writting will. I am married in 1982. age 44 years woman. we hv properity in Andhra and in mumbai one flat. My mother alive and one elder brother. Mumbai flat in the society documents mother and borther name mention as nominee 50% each. Andhra property one my mother and father's name .
and also fixed deposits. The property is own acquired by my father not fore father's property. In my veiw I hav equal share but I have doubt about Mumbai flat pl. give suggestion how to approach for my right.

Tomorrow i have to make the TOUGHEST decision i will ever make and im only 12.

Either have a dad but live with emotional abuse from my dad and my stepmom

or

Not live with abuse but never see my dad, my stepmom, or my 2 half siblings (2 yr old boy and 3 yr old girl). or any of my other 41 relatives/cousins/family ever again, well if i do get to it will be like really hard. PLEASE HELP ME i really dont want to screw up this decision.. :(

My sister and I got into a big fight yesterday. It all started because she left her 2 year old son home alone! at night so she could go out. I come to find out no one was watching him and was very angry. I called her to see where she was and and asked why he was left home alone. She lied and said a friend was supposed to be there babysitting. When I went into her bedroom, i saw pillows arranged to be a body. She came home and still out on the act of her friend supposed to be babysitting and how glad she was that i came home when i did. she asked me not to say anything to anyone until she straigtened things out with her "friend". I decided to tell her father of her baby and she soom found out and said i backstabbed and betrayed her by ratting her out. Am i in the wrong? She certainly thinks so. I only told him in the interest of my nephew's safety. it wasn't like i just decided...oh today i feel like ruining my sister's life. What do you think??

hi there
my brother has a drug problem, and we want to destroy his cell phone and his sim card without him knowing it because we dont want him talking to his shady friends no more, the aim of the game is to get rid of all the numbers.
also we dont want it too look like we have tampered with it. so no permanent physical signs of us tampering with it...
any ideas for both a phone and a sim card?
water can be used, ill just dry it off before he finds it.... any others?

My husband treats my daughter like a girlfriend, gives her money- like $100 if she wants, takes her shopping, lets her get away with lying and staying out late.

He spends little time with me. My husband yells at me and throws fits if I insist on some structure. It wastes a lot of my time and energy.

I remove priviledges if she lies or doesn't stick to the plan- where she's going, when she'll be home.

Then Dad says it's OK. Teen hates me. I love her, I drive her to her social things, school, have sleepovers, bringing her cold drinks, hanging out around the house.

I know she has to be her own be her own self, but I can't get my own work done because of the chaos.

Any tips? Leave them to work it out without me?

He always teases me and he is very nosy.
He wants to know everything i do on my computer
He is watching type this right now/
He always makes stuff up about me.
He steals my gum and other stuff that i save for my friends.
UGH
He annoys my freinds when they are there.
He always makes sound effects and say random stuff
That doesnt sound annoying but once you here it he does it costantly and it will get stuck in your head.
He is afriad of the dark - which is cute- but the problem is he will not sleep wether he is tired or not- he will come to some one's room and ask if he could sleep with them.
And so he has to sleep in my room. And i dont get privacy.
Is this a typical brother?
Or ishe just weird
He doesnt have any medical problems.
But to be honest, it seems like he has A.D.H.D

I have a soon to be six year old son. His biological father is a drug addict who has not been in his life since my son was about 20 months old. I have been with my boyfriend now for four years and he is the only father my son has known. He thinks my boyfriend now is his father. He even refers to my boyfriend as dad. My boyfriend has helped me raise him and treats him as his own since day one. I just need help with telling my son the truth. I don't know when or even how. I feel so guilty. I know my boyfriend loves my son like his own but I just don't want my son to think his life is a big lie. I would like to straighten everything out with him, but I just want to do it the right way so he is not upset or traumatized. please help me figure this out.

i lost my sister in 2004 she was killed in a car accident she was 18 and left a party she was drunk, i was 20 at the time and she was the closet person i knew. i still suffer from the pain of missing her and still don't want to believe it sometimes. a lot of people try to talk to me to comfort me but they never been threw that pain which cannot be described. how do you accept it?

ME and my bro were hanging out outside and just talking and having fun when my bro goes inside and gets some grapes.
He starts throwing the grapes in the air and trying to catch em in his mouth. Well he misses and I tell him that he had better pick them up before our dog gets them.(They are poisenous to dogs.) Well the one he dropped he threw at my dog So I told him to go pick it up. He wont (I didnt see where the grape landed) He wouldnt go after 5 minutes so I go inside and tell him to pick it up. I go out agian in a few minutes and he is just standing there. So I asked him if he picked it up. He says what I say the grape. He says the grapey grape. I say yes. Did you get it or not. He says I Dont Know. After like 10-15 minutes of that I start getting a little mad. So I grab the bowl that he had the grapes in. (They werent still in there) And throw it down I breaks) I go inside. I try to go outback and shott hoops but my bro is there and I just leave. (Not wanting to talk.)

O.K...here's the story...My brother joined the military in 1983. I was just 7 when he left. He's been home numerous times. Since 1993, I have seen him twice.Once he was home for a class reunion, and that was in 1993. The other time was in 2002 when our grandmother passed away. He got married in 1995, had a daughter in 1996 and divorced in 2004. I have never met my niece or ex-sister-in-law. I have talked to them over the phone. Since 1993, I have only spoken to my brother maybe 3 times a year and it's only for about 5-10 minutes. He still treats me like the 7 year old I was when he left. He's supposed to be coming to visit this summer with my neice. The problem is that he wasn't going to come see me, our sisters or our dad. Just our aunts. He acts as if he is so ashamed of all of us. We grew up in a small town and we weren't rich. Our mother passed away in 1980 when I was 5. He is supposedly visiting all of us now. I acted like I didn't know he was coming.

ok, i need some major help with this1, please.... serious help, if ur a smart ***, or an asshole 2 me, i will mail u back with whats on my mind, so dont' release the inner beast please. ok, im nineteen, i have a 7 mo. old, high school grad i have a part time job. my bf, not the babys father (bio father in jail, long story) lives with me, he has a full time job, decent pay. well, we live with my parents. it's such hell, it was fine when it was just me, but she controls EVERYTHING we do. i know its her house, but we are both adults. my bf isn't allowed 2 drink in the house, he's 23. she always has 2 know where we are and what we are doing. also, she doesn't want me 2 go2 certain peoples houses, just cuz she doesn't like them, and threatens 2 call DFC on me... i mean, isn't that for people who r unfit parents??? all i do is smoke cigarretts, and not even around the baby... what do i do 2 keep from going insane till my bf and i get our own place???
