Did I over do it a little?

ME and my bro were hanging out outside and just talking and having fun when my bro goes inside and gets some grapes.
He starts throwing the grapes in the air and trying to catch em in his mouth. Well he misses and I tell him that he had better pick them up before our dog gets them.(They are poisenous to dogs.) Well the one he dropped he threw at my dog So I told him to go pick it up. He wont (I didnt see where the grape landed) He wouldnt go after 5 minutes so I go inside and tell him to pick it up. I go out agian in a few minutes and he is just standing there. So I asked him if he picked it up. He says what I say the grape. He says the grapey grape. I say yes. Did you get it or not. He says I Dont Know. After like 10-15 minutes of that I start getting a little mad. So I grab the bowl that he had the grapes in. (They werent still in there) And throw it down I breaks) I go inside. I try to go outback and shott hoops but my bro is there and I just leave. (Not wanting to talk.)

So do you think I over did it. Only true answers please no fakey make me feel good answers. ONLY WHAT YOU THINK IS TRUE!!!!!

Keep track of how many times after you lose your temper, you feel good about it. For me, it's help me learn to keep my cool - most things just aren't worth getting upset about.

you should've realized he was trying to piss you off and he got what he wanted. one grape will not hurt the dog and he probably wouldn't have found it anyways. now you have to explain the bowl to your parents. next time. think about the situation. had your bro hurt the dog or forgotten the bowl, it would've been him getting in trouble.

but, either way, u did all that over 1 grape? u should have just picked it up yourself and then told ur parents or not talken to ur brother the rest of hte night.

the best way to have solve the problem (for me) is to:

pick him up next time, put him outside and if he doesnt pick of the stuff he threw you wont let him go anywhere. *the best way si to keep your hands on his shoulders so he can't escape the fact taht. he needs to pick up his mess*

And next time you shouldn't jsut left him. You can get in alotta trouble but I understand you got mad. thats understandable.

Yes you over did it--plus if you were angry enough to break something I would say you were angry with something else before the grape incident.
