Hi my name is Jennifer and im gunna be 17 in june, and i have this one problem, my 5 yr old sister Dannie is an annoying little pest. All she does is TALK TALK TALK!!!!!! When it was friday night, its my "all to myself" night. I made some popcorn and chips i bought with MY money, everytime she see me with food she says "mommy i want some" I say no, because forst of all it's MY food and secondly she just stuffed her face in 3 plates of pasta. Mom says give her some! Now im forced to share with her. I promised my best friend Kim, i come to her party, everytime i have something planned i have to watch Dannie, instead of going to the best party in high school history! with a DJ from the most popular radio station. I screamed at the brat and told to get the Hell out of my face, and she keeps coming back. Now i hit with a pillow until she goes away or maybe a shoe. There was a meeting to get a college scholarship, and mom couldnt take me because whos gunna watch Dannie? Now i cant get it

ok so my parents are stupid.......they keep me from the tings that mean the most to me and it sux my parents fight alot and with my older sister who just moved in with her new born baby

When I was just two years old, my mom abandoned my dad and I, leaving my dad with me to take care of all by himself, because she cheated on him with her boyfriend, and she actually had ME in her BOYFRIENDS TRUCK. (Don't worry, they did DNA testing on me, and I know my dad's my real dad) But how can I find my mom for free? I don't know her maiden name, but I'll ask my dad that. All I know about her is that:
Her first name is Mary
She has long black hair and glasses (Well, that's what I've seen in the pictures... she may have changed her appearance over the years.)
I know she doesn't sound like a good charactar, but every girl should meet her mother at least. Do you know any way I can do this-for free?

Ok here is my living situation: Me, My husband, MY 11 year old son, MY 4 year old daughter and OUR 22 month old daughter.

My son will not show me OR my husband ANY kind of respect, he is asked simple things by us, and either flat out refuses to do it, or throws the biggest fit in the world, we dont ask much of him, just simple things (garbage, litter box, not to act like a little thug etc.) but he just continues to be ignorant with our wishes, my older daughter is starting to be the same way, she wont listen, she literally laughs when we yell at her, and she thinks that when ever we are trying to punish her it is all a joke. I have talked with my sons father and he is fine if I send my son to live with him (this has been on going for a LONG time and we have tried everything we can think of trying to get him to change his ways) but, sending my daughter to her fathers is out of the question (I am currently pursuing a soul custody court order) besides, she seems to listen at least a

O.K. my brother in law to be is an alcoholic. when he is broke he says he is done with drinking and when he gets money instead of paying bills, and trying to find his own place he goes out all night and parties and then hides in his room. this has gone on too long already and i feel that he will never change as long as he lives here. my question is how do i get my fiance to understand that it is time for his little brother to move out and grow up? any serious suggestions are greatly appreciated. thanks.

want my bf's two snot nosed bratty kids at my house? I'm not kidding, these kids constantly have green snot coming out of their noses and when they come from their mom's house they're just filthy dirty. Their mother does not discipline them and they are loud and obnoxious. The thing is, they're only 6 and 7. I have a 9 yr old who is well behaved and very clean...Could I just be irritated because I was brought up with discipline and cleaniness and not as trailer trash or is it that as long as I could remember snot-nosed kids have always disgusted me? Does true love forget self and forgive. Does true love hurt? You tell me...my girlfriend has really betrayed me I feel...she is having an abortion against my will and it hurts and I have tried to change her mind to the point of completely getting shut out. I love her and I want to comfort her because I know she is hurting. She told me she didn't know if she loved me...until now she has told me otherwise. My mom and my aunts and uncles are fighting over inheritance and stuff that happened years ago. The three of them of the four get along good but my mom is sueing them over dumb issues and instigating things. I love my aunts uncles and cousins and want to continue a relationship with them and I don't see why not becasue they are nice to me too. They are acting mature about it all. My uncle invited me to his wedding and my mom got wind of it and is trying to guilt me out of going. Shouldn't that be her dispute with them and I should not be a part of it? I am 29. My Aunts and Uncles treat me like an adult and keep me out of it, mom does not. What should I do?

What makes them so great?

My mom was hardly around when I was growing up and was always taking all of the money and blowing it on drugs. Therefore, my dad had to raise me on his own and he could honestly make miracles happen. I ALWAYS had everything I needed and even when he could afford it, NOTHING I wanted!!! He taught me how to be responsible and grateful for the things I have. Taught me to be independent. He made me go to school and the day that I graduated college, I told him that he earned that degree just as much as I did. I love my dad!

Does anyone else have an awesome parent that deserves some credit???

I have been married for 6 months. I love my husband he is the perfect man for me, but we live with his parents. My husband and i were dating for about 4 years before we got married. My in-laws were great and then we got married and everything changed. His mom hates me for taking her son focus away from her. Im very unhappy and he knows that. We are indian and in our culture the son and his wife must take care off his parents. My husband thinks this is his duty as the only son (to do whatever they say whenever they say). We have no time alone and i spend most off my day with his mother. She constantly insults me about the way i look and basicly everything i do. Living here has made me feel less of a person. I feel im dying inside. I do not want to hurt anyones feelings but i cant live here anymore and my husband cant leave because he works for his father. What should i do. I do not want to loose my husband but i havent cried as much in my whole life as i have in this 6 months. HELP

There is a woman at my office. She's 50 but she talks about her nephew ALL the time...how she does his laundry, gives him money and just caters to him. I was thinking he's in his teens...he's 38 years old! And has a g/f and boy does my co worker get jealous of her nephews g/f. Says how she stole him away. And she cries at work if her and the nephew fight saying she lost her best friend. She drops anything to be with him....what kind of relationship is that? Is it incest? I think it's a bit odd to be that close to a relative. She also talks about him more than her husband. My sister has always disliked my mother. I'm not sure why. My mom can say mean things like "you're getting fat" or "your dress is too low." Actually our mom is pretty critical of her children, but it's caused my sister to be extremely insecure and angry. She can't trust anyone! I used to be the one she could to talk, but recently I just can't help getting mad at her or sounding annoyed with her when she vents to me about how terrible our mom is, so she hates me too. She'll go on about how terrible our mom is and how she had better give her money. She's spoiled beyond belief, and her rationale is that our mom did all these things for her other children, so she had better give her things too. It's ridiculous: I wear the same clothes for an entire year, and my sister gets a higher allowance than anyone else, yet she still claims this. Me and my husband own the house. We were nice enough to let her move in with us 10 years ago and she STILL hasnt left. IT has been such a struggle living with this woman. She isnt the easiest to get along with and is an ex- drug addict. (actually I think she still does drugs based on her behaviors)
She put a new doorknob on her bedroom door without asking us permission and it has a key lock on it. I made her give me a copy of the key because I feel I should have access to every room in MY house if needed. I dont go in her room or dig through her stuff or anything. There is no reason for her to lock her door when she is gone. One day I needed in her room because she had left her phone of the hook and we couldnt use the phone all day. I coudlnt get in there because guess what............ it is locked. That is when I told her I needed a key.
Well, today I realized there is ANOTHER new doorknob on her door and I dont have a key once again. It makes me SO mad!
What should I do??

Only mothers who have bad relationships with their daughters could understand this dilemma. Her father and I are divorced and of course she blames me. I have accepted this, but the problem is that verbally berates me almost constantly. She tells me she hates me, calls me worthless, even goes so far as to say she wishes that I would commit suicide and rid the world of me. The divorce happened 6 yrs ago, she is 22 yrs old now and her father and I get along great. She has a steady boyfriend, great job and siblings that don't hate me. I try to talk to her but she has just made up her mind that I am a nothing. I can't just let it be, I love her, she is my daughter. Any suggestions as to what to do? neglected her and had an affair with her own cousin, which produced two step sisters (one of whom is semi-retarded) who were raised with the family. The mother beat the girl for asking for a bit more food when she was hungry, then as the girl got older, she had to help raise her 10 bros and sis. Guys, I come from a broken home with parents that HATE each others gutts. My father was abusive to my mother, almost killed her the day she gave birth to me. But unfortunately, my mother despised me (and still does) taking all of my father's bitterness on me growing up. When I was 17, she starved me for 1 month by locking up all the food in the kitchen and travelling out of town. I keep away from them in order to maintain my sanity. I had a talk with my father-in-law last night and he insists that I fulfil my obligations to my parents by "sending them money" when I can. He says, they have authority over you on this earth and that doing this will grant me "blessings." Please note that I am originally from an ethnic group called the "Yorubas" in western Nigeria.
