Family - May 2007

Yao Defen lives in China and is 7 feet and 10 inches tall with a Pituitary Glan condition she is 35 year old and in Gerat need of our prayers. A Doctor has offered to operate on her in a few mounths but needs her health to improve. Please pray for her to get better and to recieve the gift of our father GOD and son Jesus. She is a very good person who has been poor and her family is very poor but GOD can do anything. Please pray for her and her family. GOD Bless you all.

My mom is a bingo fool she feels like she has to go everyday and shes even cried over not being able to go it's terrible she's 57 and to see her worry about bingo so much and she has her lights off right now and her water shes been staying at my house for a month now and says she can't afford to help me out I don't want to say anything to her but she raises my neices and i can hardly pay my bills the way it is .What can you do about bingo and will anybody take me seriouse?It is serious there forclosing on her at this time after paying on it for 34 years.I live in a 2bedroom and theres no room with my 2 teenagers what should I do?Thats my mom and I can't be rude or disrespectful and she raised me.

I am so heart broke over this situation! I have supported him in every way, and have never asked him for anything!! I just wanted to go and see her graduate from high school!! I told my daughter that I would send her the money that we would have used to go up there and she said she just wanted me to be there and nothing else!!! I am so disappointed in my husband for promising me to take me there,(another state) and then saying no when it is this coming Sunday??? What should I do, try to drive myself? Or hitch hike ?? This is so not fair, when I have never asked him of anything!!! Sad in the south east!

My sister inlaw is controling all aspects of my younger brothers life and she has now told my other brother that if he wants to see him he needs to respect her or she will not allow him to visit,My brother, she has said this to has driven her every were when she needs the ride,has taken her shopping and babysat their children.We at one point used to go over to visit them on sundays and have a family night but this has not been done in over 2months,my sister inlaw keeps telling us lies about why she cant have dinner or she phones us and we find out later they went no were,we ask her to let him stay over one night a week with us for what we call brothers night but she has now stopped that to.But she can have anyone stay over at her place when ever she wants,this is really pissing me off and im hopeing someone out there can tell me how to approach her and tell her how I feel,and to let my brother know all we want is to be together one night a week,we are not asking much.Please help.......

as i said in a question before my brother was murdered this year by my nephew. my nephew was indetifed by another person whom he shot and also my cousin an eye witness the same night of the murder. so why did it take them 1 whole month to put a warrant out for his arrest. we found out a couple months ago that my nephew was actcually arrested 2 weeks after the murder out side of nyc HOWEVER since the police department only had him as a "person of intrest" and not a warrant they let him go!!!! and then my sister talked to the detective handling the case trying to give him some info that she found out and the detective told her to be honest your brothers case isnt our priorty!! when has it ever been?? is it becuase its family are we not supposed to want my nephew behing bars?

we have a 6 month old baby and she has been extremely listless and fussy today, has been screaming non stop all day, and coughing and pulling at her ears. the doctors office couldn't get us in until tommorrow night at 7pm, thats over 24 hours away. well I wanted to take her to the ER instead of waiting, but my husband had a softball game, He didn't offer to watch our oldest daughter or to go with me, he said it didn't take 2 of us to go. So i had my dad watch my oldest daughter and i took the baby to the ER by myself. Is anyone elses husband this way?? what would you have done or how would you have react? I called him a Dick head and I told him he cared more about letting his team down instead of letting me down. and that he didn't even have to watch his daughter when i went cause my dad was going to take his responsibility. now that i am back and we are all home should i bring it up or just ignore it and be mad??

My bat mitzvah is on Saturday, and I need to think of some songs. The custom is to ask close friends to help light candles, and you play a song to suit them. The problem is I can't think of songs for my uncle & aunt, My grandparents, and all the other people that have affected my life (parents' friends, etc.) They should be appropriate and preferably happy.
My uncle and aunt are very friendly and fun..they have 2 daughters.
Grandparents, well they're grandparents : )
The other people, some I don't know very well, but something appropriate (caring, loving... something.)

Any suggestions would be helpful!!

In order to protect my own family, I stopped contact with my father, mother, and 2 sisters.
It started when one sister's teenage son was charged with over 10 counts of child molestation including penetration. My sister did not tell me. I got a tip. We had a family reunion planned with shared housing. I confronted her. She said that her son did not know that he what he had was wrong and I had ruined the vacation. I forgive her because she was in shock and denial. She continued to pressure me to get "the kids" together, even though her son was still involved with one of the victims, his younger brother, unsupervised, without therapy. When she told me that her sons did not know why I was keeping my daughter from them, I had to stop.
My father is a severe alcoholic. Last time I saw him he fondled my breasts. My mother is a mean drunk. My other sister has been a heroin addict for years and was in prison.
Why do I feel so bad about cutting off contact to protect my daughter?

my cousin her nieces that there trouble she makes exuses for them like iam crazy or something. they accuse all the guys in the family of molestation. including her hustband. there trouble and now she wants them back in the family like going to the parties because they dont go because of her hustband is there. and my aunt acts diffrent when shes around them like shes stuck up towards me and attitude. even her son is on my side about this.

get over it? my son will be gone for 4 months. i have alot of bills and everything is changing so fast and i have alot on my mind. i start to cry and sleep alot. its hard my family notice iam not the same person i cant tell them because then ill start to cry anyways. how do i go past it or work through it.

I met my Dad when I was 18. I had to search for him, while he knew where I was till I was 10, and after that all he had to do was ask around, any way now he wants to be in my life but he lives miles away and the only way to see each other is by plane. He wants me to call him yet he pretty much never calls me because he's busy with my brothers and sisters (that's what he says). My mom never asked him to pay child support. My sister has a brand new car he gave her and he buys me a 1997, $4,000 car. There are a lot of other little situations like that, that are really hurting me. I don't want special treatment, just equal treatment, but he makes no intent to take care of me, when he never has, but can and could because has a lot of money. Should I let it go, or just realize he doesn't care?

my mom never believes half of the things i say. i tell her i am bi-polar, she says, no you arent! i feel as though i need to go to the dr. even a dr note/prescription wouldnt help, i feel like she wouldnt pay for the medication. i recently hurt my ankle in my softball game, and she says, oh you will be fine and has me doing chores around the house, while my ankle is in pain. now my father did lie/cheat on her when they were together so could she have a trust issue? she thinks im just trying to get attention. what do i do? how can i get her to listen to me?

I'm 13, didn't think and, went to a mall with some friends, forgot to ask my mom, had to ask her to pick me there. I didn't do anything bad, but it was wrong. I apologized, mom was nice but gave me a lesson. Yesterday afternoon I had to stay home doing some chores. Mom made me put on a cute frilly apron and told me to keep it on. I didn't complain, I know I messed up, mom treated me with love and it was a light punishment. My parents were at work and I stayed home doing my chores. It happened that 2 of mom's fellows came home that afternoon and since mom was out I had to help them . I didn't know if I was allowed to take off my apron to receive them and I didn't think it'd be Ok to call her at her job, so I didn't take it off. They laughed, said I looked cute in it, asked what I was doing and I told the truth. I got embarrassed. When I told mom she laughed too, said there was no problem, gave me a big hug and kisses. we have been together for 3 years and they still ignore me at family functions and his sis is the worst. she acts like im not even there. it is to the point where i consider breaking the relationship off because i could not imagine having them as inlaws. should i break it off and give them what they want or deal with it because i love my boyfriend?

I like to get him books on home repair because he is a good plumber but his carpentry skills leave something to be desired. My question is why do men not like to read about fixing things or how to put things together? It just drives me crazy. I'm sure its a ego thing but isn't it much easier to read and do things right the first time?

i keep a journal, or a diary and naturally, i put down all my thoughts in it. They're private and i don't want anyone to see them.. i treasure them and i love to look back at the things i wrote as a kid and i'm sure i would want to look back at what i'm writing now eventually. i'm scared that someone will find it and feel offended or mad at me for being honest in it. now school's ending so i can't store it in my locker. where can i hide it? a really really good place.

My boyfriend and I have been together for well over a year. We got together in high school, and he transferred to my college for the Spring semester. We are happy together, and hope to get an apartment for our Junior year of college. Because we'd like to be financially stable, we started a savings account together, to which we contribute equal amounts every week ($20). My parents know about the account, and because I am an adult, gave their opinion, but left it at that, and were generally supportive, and glad that we were being financially prepared. My boyfriend did not tell his parents, and somehow, they found out about our account. They freaked out, and told him we had to cancel the account or they would not pay for him to go to college anymore.

I'm extremely angry with them for butting into our privacy, telling us what to do with our money, and threatening to pull their support from my boyfriend. Am I out of line for being upset? And should I approach them about it?

I am with this women and we have been dating for about 3 months now. She has a daughter and she wants me to take on the role of parenting. Honestly I am not that ready. It's hard because there are certain things she can't do because of her daughter and their is certain things I can't do because of the baby. I do realize though that I intruded in on her and her child. I don't think I want to be with her anymore. I mean I'm really having mixed feelings about this can someone please help me out. I have a child support hearing in a few weeks, I don't want my daughters biological father to have anything to do with her. His family has been calling me and threatening me. Me and my husband are moving out of the coutrie but not until a few months from now. I know I have to appear in court or else they will put a warrant for my arrest, would it be legal for me to move out of the countrie and sign over my rights to as a US citizen? What do you think the judge will say?

I live w/ him and my 13 yo girl. Until a year ago they used to figh a lot, he was very jealous of her because he thought I loved her and didn't love him.Not true, though I agree I was much harder on him than on her. Several times he was mean to her and, though never did anything awful, did unacceptable things, like throwing her in a swimming pool when she was ready for a party (there was no danger of drowning). It's true she used to tease him and make him mad. For several times he got harsh punishments and she enjoyed this and teased him. Finally he stopped fighting w/ her and for some time tried to make up for his wrongdoings. When he considered it was enough, he simply stopped talking to me and her. He's a very responsible boy, an honor student, respected by friends and teachers. But very bitter and unhappy, resentful never smiles. Says he doesnt want to have make kids, because males can't be loved. I've been trying to get closer to him, but he's extremely resentful and avoids me.
