i keep a journal, or a diary and naturally, i put down all my thoughts in it. They're private and i don't want anyone to see them.. i treasure them and i love to look back at the things i wrote as a kid and i'm sure i would want to look back at what i'm writing now eventually. i'm scared that someone will find it and feel offended or mad at me for being honest in it. now school's ending so i can't store it in my locker. where can i hide it? a really really good place.

it all depends on what else you got in yur room...if you have a shelf with books...then get some big useless book, cutout all the pages in it and hide your smaller diary in there...

if your diary is thin and you have a closet, one that has carpeting in it,...then pull up a corner of the carpeting, and put it under that...and place something on top of it that wont draw any attention...

if you have your own bathroom...you can put it into a couple freezer size ziploc bags and put it in the toilets tank...make sure the possible opening side is above the water line...

since its summer now, if you have a closet in which you have a winter style jacket, you can put it in the sleeve of the winter jacket esp the sleeve that is facing the bakc wall of the closet...

and lastly, you can slit open a big tedy bear...and make a spot for your book in the middle of it...

dont hide it in an underwear drawer or under the mattress. thats too common. it kind of depends on how big the journal is. if its small buy a stuffed animal that you're supposed to put batteries in, take out the battery box, and put the diary in there. or if you have a vent in your room near the floor put it in there (until winter then you take it out because you dont want it burned), you can put it behind the bottom drawer of your dresser, or simply buy a lock box and keep the key with you at all times. good luck!

if you write your journal in english, try this it may seem laborious, first convert your journal into a text or word document, store in your mail account. that ensures control and protection, and next you write or add something into your journal just add it over net.
that's a better way, and second method is like in the first method maintain your journal as a file(text, word-document), download a folder-locking software just lock your journal-file with that software. this is also a good method. and if your journal is too big to convert into word-document or for some other reason if its tough to do that, then try hiding some where you wouldn't generally hide. think places simple and un-noticeable or un-suspected. all the best.

I would love to keep a journal but I know that it would eventually be found and my private thoughts and ideas would be bastardized.

Keep an online journal (www.livejournal.com) and dont use anything you would normally use to identify yourself. Nobody will know its you if you do it right and you can write down whatever you want.

Underware drawer?
Or if you have cushions in your house that have zippers on them unzip it and hide it inside the cushion.
Or now that school is out stuff it in your backpack. Since its over nobody will think that the backpack is still being used.
If you hang your clothes up in a closet put the book over the hanger then put a shirt over it.

Hope these helped! :]

try putting it maybe under you mattress or in a drawer or something and keep an eye out for it. you could put it in a regular notebook thatway no one thinks its a diary or you could put a lock on it and keep the key on a necklace and never take the necklace off, i have found that any of those ideas normally work it you dont give it away

in the cookbook section... make a different cover for it. and if a cookbook isnt uninteresting enough ( for your housemates) , make a cover that says : the developement of the pre-natal stages of the green tipped night moth.... or something like: hair extentions for dogs... something your housemates wont be interested in... maybe a cover of a real book that you can lend from the library, show to the family, and then copy the front and use it to hide your book. but a bankvault is better. :)

the best places to hide things are to simply bury them in the ground or in a private safe. and there is the option of stciking it you no where but I don't think a journal will fit there.

under your dresser would probably work, if you can slide it threw like the fancy trim on the bottom if you have that kind. or you could put it in your underware drawer, that should be a safe place unless you live with some pervs. i would imagine you could find a spot somewhere in your closet, i know i would be able to.

Behind a night stand - in the back of your closet - between your mattress - under your clothes in a drawer. Hope it helps.
