how do you calm down a really hiper person?

my sister gets really hiper sometimes and i just like want to shut her up

Tie her to a chair, duct tape her mouth, and stick her in a closet :P. Try to retain her by like sitting her down in front of the tv or something and if that doesnt work take her to a near by trail and make her run :D

walk away from her and tell her when she can calm down you'll talk to her.
