I have a child support hearing in a few weeks, I don't want my daughters biological father to have anything to do with her. His family has been calling me and threatening me. Me and my husband are moving out of the coutrie but not until a few months from now. I know I have to appear in court or else they will put a warrant for my arrest, would it be legal for me to move out of the countrie and sign over my rights to as a US citizen? What do you think the judge will say?

you can do just about anything, but you need to show up..or he will have an advantage over you. I have sole custody and we were divorced in Brazil..I am an american citizen...was a tough one, but I won....but gave up all alimony and child support. Was worth it.....But the first thing you need to do is what I did, hire an attornbey. You may not even have to be there, the attorney vcan represent you...but really don't know. Call an attorney.

Good luck!

Go to jail, directly to jail. Like it or not, this is your child's father and he has rights as well. Stop using your child as a weapon and be a grown up. Document the threats and report them to your lawyer.
