im 19. my dad works night shift so its just me and mom, and she was on the phone with my grandmother, and she just drank like a fish.

she insisted going to the store and buying cigarettes... but i certainly wasnt gunna let her drive, so i told her i would take her, but im not lettin her drive and im not going in.

long story short... she refused. she fell on her face and pretty much broke her nose, she fell on her *** and basically bruised her tailbone, she has scrapes and bruises because she stumbled the quarter of a mile to the store and back. I followed her in the car the entire way and she refused to get in the car. I would get out of the car to help her up, and she'd hit me and refuse... so i just put on my 4-ways and followed her home.

ive managed to get her into bed now, but shes really embarassed herself and me. she yelled and screamed really hurtful things for the past 2-3 hours... and now shes finally asleep.

she isnt often like this..

but how do i deal with it?

This happens in a tribe somewhere on Earth. A kid sits pouting when his grandfather, also the tribal chief, walks by and asks him what is the problem.

Kid: I don't like my name, I hate it.
Chief: Now, now. It is tribal custom that me, the chief, names the child according to what I saw at the moment he or she was born. Don't you understand?
Kid is still pouting
Chief: See, I named your father Flying Eagle, your good friend next door Running Wolf, and your older sister Light Rain.
Kid is still pouting.
Chief: Time to go to your mother now. So run along, Fxxking Dog.

she chews through most restrictions, and heads for the refrigerator. Small chains do not work, nor does cable,,,she just knaws through. And, it is best not to get between her and the refrigerator, when she chews her way free,,, the growls are not a pretend warning! Will larges doses of tranquilizers help?,,or,,should I hide a rerigerator, for the family,, and let her guard her own territory? Is there really a leash law, on such a beast?
Is she trainable?,,,or do we keep scattering newspaper?

When my son now 2 1/2 was 7 months old (the only time she was ever alone with him and it was for 10 minutes) she told me that she stuck her finger in his face and told him to go ahead and cry because Mommy & Daddy aren't here to save you and left bruises on his leg. She also lies to me, is very two faced and has repeatedly told me one thing and done the opposite. Now at any event that we are not present she tells people that I control her son and that it is my time to go and that her son will never choose me over her baby or no baby. I don't think that he should ever have to make that choice but I am refusing to step foot in either his mother or sisters house until I don't know when. I have a target on my back for protecting myself and would like your advice?

I'm only 8 weeks pregnant. I'm so tired and sick a lot. The house is messier than usual. I'm not working at the moment. I spend most of my time on here when BF isn't not home because it doesn't require any energy.
My boyfriend is so supportive of my new-found unproductivity (he's has a 6 y/o son so he's been through it before). I felt like crap this morning, and layed in bed for 3 hours after I woke up. He told me to take it easy today, "if you do too much it'll only make it worse." He'll do laundry and dishes behind my back. It makes me feel so guilty, but I so much appreciate it.
I don't believe any of my ex's would have treated me this good. I want to show him how much I appreciate him for his support.
We're kind of poor right now, so I can't go out and buy him anything. He'd appreciate something more creative much more anyways. I've tried to find some online printable greeting cards that I can personalize, but no luck.
Any suggestions?

My ex and i weren't married, but we had a child together. He is an alcoholic, and was never there for me or my son. He wasn't even there when my son had surgery at 3 weeks old. I finally got the courage to leave him. Now after 6 months my ex wants to see him. i am going to let my son visit, but everytime i think about it I start crying. Is that normal? Should I let my son go visit? What do I do?

Okay so my fiance and I had a little girl not that long ago. The problem is, is our families are trying to run our lives. They are nit picking at every little thing. Like this, we talked with our doctor and we were discussed her feeding schedule and how much she eats and her doctor said she couldn't be better and she's getting the right about, yet my mother-in-law is going to my mother and telling her that we're feeding our child too much and that she's huge (which she's not even close!) so my mother freaks out and freaks out on me! It's getting rediculous, our families are not just helping us. They are running our lives telling us what exactly to do, when to do it, and how to do it. We know what we're doing and they need to back off. I know they want to help, but they're going way over the line, enough is enough. As much as I wanna tell them all to shut their mouths, I can't. How can I basically tell them that I am my daughters mother and they aren't, but in a polite manner

She is great, we have a wonderful relationship. The word I that describes my mom is simply love, true, unconditional love. Like most moms like that, she is however overprotective and sometimes I wish I could make my own decisions. Sometimes I do'nt gree w/ her, and even other parents say sometimes she goes oveboard w/ her protection. But since I am maybe weak, I never succeed, I don't fight, she wins me w/ her love and sweetness. She has a tactic that always work. When we disagree on something and she sees that's really bothering me, she comes to y bedside at night and with her love and sweet words explain to me her decision. I want your best hun, I love you I'm more experienced, please trust me. I guess she won't back off, but anyway that love takes my anger away and even if I don't agree I end up promising her, w/ all my love, as she asks me, tghat I'll do as she wants. So, I'm defeated, and once I prmise I won't break the promise. I never get resentful, bt sometimes I'd like to win

She has run away and stayed gone for weeks at a time, has violated her propation and only gets a tap on the wrist from the judge. She comes in wee hours of the night. Years ago she gave false alligations to CPS about abuse(which was founded) meaning dropped. There's much much more, we are christians and believe we cannot give up on children because God did not give up on us in our sin. My question is: she wants my help by signing a parental slip so she could work. She makes it to school when she feels like it and I honestly don't believe this job at papa murphy's will last because she is not dependable and not serious about her life. What should I do, how shoud I look at this whole situtation with her needing my help and she doesnt care two cents about us and our rules?

I aske a previous question pertaining to my mom over reacting about me having sex.....I did not include an age, i am 17....alot of you asked that in your anwseres....in case you did not get the question it was this:

I finally trusted her enought to tell her i had sex, she totally flipped out screaming crying yelling, and to top it off, she won't let me see or talk to my boyfriend. He loves me, and says he doesnt care he'll wait for me but hello! she was a teegaer too at one time, she made her own mistakes, me being one of them, What gave her the right to react this way. Now I don't trust her at all, and I can't talk to or see the person I do trust. What can i do to mak my mom see that she is really over-reacting?

I called in to provide information about a neighbor who is quite abusive to his child and has many domestic disputes almost on a daily basis last month. The local children and youth never investigated. I called in yesterday about the father was outside smoking what appeared to be illegal drugs with some of his friends. I called in again and a person from children and youth went to the house yesterday and spent about 5 minutes outside talking with just the mother and then drove directly over to my home and was very abusive with me and told me she was going to have the district attorney file charges against me for a false report. This is not right and i will never ever call in anything again.

I got to know this yesterday. I talked to one of his friends, a boy I trust, and he he said my boys sees her like a second mom, but he saw her touching him not exactly like a mom. His friend said she is beautiful and he thinks, likes teen boys, especially those that, like mine, are sensitive and somewhat innocent for his age. I talked to my boy, he told me he got to know her at a a swimming pool. He assured me he sees her like a second mom, but fessed she asked him to help her w/ her bra that got unclipped. My boy ended up crying and resentful, said he likes her because she gives him love and at home he feels left out, says I give much more attention to my 15 yo girl than to him and he thinks he's a good boy - actually he's a great boy - and deserves love although he's a boy. He admitted once she touched him somewhat like a woman touches a man but he's sure she likes him like a little bro. I'm lost, don't kow what to do, if she was a guy and he was a girl, this would be illegal.

My girlfriend told me that when girls (mostly teenagers) discover how babies are made, they realized that their dad did that to their mom, and for a phase they hate their dad. I never heard anything like that, is this true? or is it just her. I'm really curious.
I know that my sister disliked my dad for a while, but is it because of that? any answers are welcome
