Yes, I think so. No matter how good things may be, I'm sure you have your reasons for wanting to run.

When I was 10, my mom went to the emergency room for some reason (she was always sick), and I was just convinced that she was going to die. I don't know why, but my solution to dealing with that was running away.

Luckily, I was smart enough to "run" straight to my grandparent's house a couple of miles away. They listened to me, comforted me, and then called my dad. I remember that we worked it out. My mom was terribly hurt that I had done this, but she decided it was more important for me to feel secure than to worry about her own hurt feelings.

It is actually! A lot of times people create drama in their lives just to have something to focus on. My guess is that you're bored, stuck in a rut maybe? If that's true then youre not really running away from something, you're trying to find something to run to. Figure out what your missing, you probably will have an easier time getting it with your family's help and support.

Sure. Of course, you should have good reasons. If you think hard and dont actually find any, than maybe what you really want is change. Thats perfectly fine, but there are other ways of getting it. You can do something fun and exciting with your family and you will most likely not feel like running awway ^.^

what do u mean by "running away" as in not telling them where you are? if that's what you meant then no, i don't think its normal. but if it running away as in starting a new life on your own, they yeah its perfectly normal. just learn to communicate with your family the reasons why you want to do this, and if they love you as you say they do, they should be able to understand and let you become your own person.

well if the person wants to run away for no reason no. but if there are things going on at outside of home that are going bad and stressful than its completly normal to want to run away.

Once or twice thoughts, but not all the time.
You said you have a happy home so little fights will get you thinking about running away-but not actually planning the trip...you get me?

Sort of. You may just be wanting some excitment in your life, try some new sports or hobbies. May I suggest snowboarding if you live in a cold area? Horse back riding is also very interesting.
