Ive seen programmes when psychics have helped police find kids and find murders years after the event
now how do we go abouts telling them

So-called "psychics" prey on people who are at their wit's end. They abuse situations just like the one Madeline's parents find themselves in for their own personal promotion. Generally they will make a raft of very vague predictions ("I see the color blue, there was water nearby, etc) and if the mystery is ever solved (as it, in rare cases, is) they will claim that they helped crack the case. Actually there has never been ONE SINGLE CASE of a police department making any use of any "psychic" comments to assist in a missing person's case. Plenty of claims by psychics, but none of them bear any resemblance to reality.
It would be 100% wrong to give money to a psychic. These people should be arrested. No punishment is too harsh for those who would use the parents' pain to take their money.

Then you will get any old freak without a conscience trying to make money out of this and the police will be traipsing around following fake information from the spriti world.

I personally think its worth a try, but they probably never would as they're catholics and catholics dont believe in things like that.
It shouldn't stop psychics out there using their 'talent' to help though. ;-)

yes they should consider it i would do anything i could i am a catholic and i would not refuse any help of corse there will be crackpots but only the truly decent ones would offer their services for free any of them ask for money then they are lowlifes

you know what. i dont see why not. i'm sceptic also but what ever can help. i'd explore every avenue no matter how stupid it may seem.
