that was not very responsible of you. It may be fun for yuo but bottom line, it was no fun for your brother. Apologise to him and yuor parents.

it depends...was he hurt in any way?
when I was little my older brother and I would always do stuff to piss each other off (there's a 9 yr. age difference between us).
ex: thrown/pushed in pool, locked out of house, fighting, stealing each others crap, name calling, etc. I could go on forever. we were Real Brats back then.
once, when I was 11, I purposely locked his keys in his truck just for fun. my mom threw a complete fit when she found out but I wasn't grounded.
also, when I was 6, he hid my 7 wk. old puppy that my parents had just bought for me (he was being a jerk that day). I went crazy until my dad finally started shouting telling him to give the dog back to me. needless to say, he wasn't grounded.
my brother and I were soooo mean to each other growing up; but for all the dumb *** things that we did we were Never grounded.
your little brother sounds a bit like a tattle tale, he probably wanted you to get grounded if he wasn't seriously hurt or upset. I believe that your parents went a bit overboard.

My big sister used to pick on me like that - it wasn't fun at all.
For how long have you been grounded and are you guilty of picking on your little brother a lot in the past?
Sounds like you crossed the line. Maybe once too often.
Suck it up until you can leave your brother alone.
Don't give him a reason to tattle on you. 'Cause he will. Believe me - at the drop of a hat.
And where was your mom in all of this? Why wasn't she supervising?

In a previous question you confessed to hitting your sister when she was only trying to help you. Now you are trying to drown your little brother. Of course you should be grounded, and hopefully for a very long time.. You sound a right b*****. I feel pity for your parents. Grow up and behave better in future.

Parents are protective of their children. Just the way it is. Also, he could have been hurt. They probably hope a grounding will make you think twice before you do things like that.

well you should be nice to your brother but as long as he can swim and did not get hurt then grounding might be a little rough. good luck.

Yes...it may have been fun (for you), but he didn't enjoy himself and he could have gotten hurt.
