If you know your Mother was the best she could be , and you are happy with yourself now , and your childhood (because of her) , how do you get her to stop apologising for the past ! ? And I have already told her , she was and still is the best , I wouldn't have dreampt or wished for any other .

My boyfriend and I live in Rhode Island, he is from Texas. We met while he was in the Navy, and he stayed here for me after getting out. Well we are expecting our first baby at the end of May, his mom and sister are coming to stay with us for a week at the end of may begining of june. Which is fine with me, I know that I wont be expected to care for them, they will probably be a big help to me. But the problem is he told me last night he has friends that want to come visit the 2nd or 3rd week in june. They have 2 kids and want to stay with us! I barely know these people, and dont want to worry about entertaining them with a 2 or three week old baby. I know that he misses his friends and family and hate to tell him no, but I just dont think it's a good idea so close to the baby being born... Any suggestions?

my boyfriend is goin on 19 yrs of age, he lives with his parents and they treat him like a 5 yr old slave and he takes it i love him so it is my buisness when hes depressed...
he wont stand up for himself....

he works from 7-6 as a builder and then comes home to his parents and works on the farm til 9.30 how can he keep doing this

the worst part is he cant go anywhere unless they no who with and their not keen on me at all but my parents love him,...

he can neverr spend a nite anywhere not even at relatives and he has to be home every sunday by 5 for DINNER and mass

what can i say or do to help me?????

i have always been quite close to my aunt, but she is a bit stuck up and thinks she/her kids are fantastic and everyone else is not, she has often said little nasty things here and there which we let go, but she really let me down on my wedding day by various unnecessary comments, i have told my mum that i longer wish to speak to her, but now am finding that it is probably best to just be polite, i can't speak to her about it cos she is will deny having said things and make out that im at fault, i want her to be nice and want to have a relationship wiht her but cant get over the fact i have been really let down by her. i hope this makes sense, it is quite a long story and i have tried to keep it short and may have left out important things, but the gist of it is there...please advise...

My cousin is with this girl right. I have never done anything to her(never even spoke). She accuses him of affairs with me. Me and my cuz don't even speak . What do you think her problem is . I could understand if something had been done to provoke her thinking this way but nothing has not even words.

I know everyone have this problem. My parents are the best but they always remind me of my mistakes but forgets theirs.They never accept their fault & always thinks that Iam arguing with them when Iam just explaining myself.At one time they want me to be smart& witty but at the same time they want me to be a quiet shy girl who know nothing.Sometimes I can't understand for what I may have done to get a scold for I get scold for something I have not done.PLEASE HELP!!! They abosulety confuse me & frustate me some times.

i'm 16 years old and my brother is 14 i couldnt sleep becuz i have this question thats bothering me - my biological dad's girlfriend (i call him that becuz i havent seen him in over a year) always writes his emails for him. He never contacts us. then yesterday becuz she has been bothering my mom, my mom told her not to contact her anymore and my bio dad's girlfriend responded with a really nasty email that she sent to me and my brother too. in it she called my mom a liar, a cheater, selfish, coldhearted (you get the drift), and then she called her a "b" word (dont want to cuss). Can I do anything as a kid since she sent this to me and my brother? She told me i was like mom and would lead a miserable life like mom does but my mom smiles more now than i have ever seen her. can someone help me and my brother and tell us what we need to do? thank you for reading this and stuff maybe i can go to sleep now!

im, 25 but my,My Mom is 68 years old, she devoted her whole life to her sister and doing everything for her 3 sons.. being extra nice to them.. Her sister is a control freak, if you dont do as she tells you she gets very angry... She used to call my Mom every week saying catty and mean things to her, and telling her how shes weird because my father died 3 years ago and she should get a boyfriend and stop whiing,,--stuff like that...
my Mom she stopped doing everything her sister wants,,
Also her sisters 3 sons started bullying my Mom, calling her and asking questions like,, What street do i work on?,,demanding they be invited to our house and slamming the phone when told no..
then my 50 yr old cousins wife left a message for my Mom saying "how dare you cut us off and not cal my husband for his birthday and not invite him to your house, hes hurt, and we dont want a response from you" My mom didnt call back, no one ever contacted us in the family again, do i call them now?

It all started about 4 years ago! I beat him quite badly in front of his mom and dad! I regret it now. I think it started when I was young as I can remember my sister beating my parents and just laughing about it afterwards! Then my sister would see the joke and laugh to! If she didnt find it funny, my sister would beat her again. I think thats where I get this addiction from! I do not bad after but I do enjoy beating my husband!
It all started when we had our first child!

My husband was taken away from his biological mother at the age of 2. He was adopted by his biological uncle on his father's side. Later , he was taken away from them and moved to another state where he was adopted again. He does remember her name while she was married to his father but she has since remarried. Any help on people searches would be appreciated.

I have a complicated situation..My grandparent and I have had a falling out due to my father and I not having a relationship..I had not spoken to my grandparents in almost a year until recently around Christmas time..I have not seen them in over a year and I am going to be by their house on friday for a job interview..I was thinking of calling them to see if I could stop by for a visit..I'm nervous to call as to what they might say since I have not spoken with them since Christmas.I was not the one who chose to not see them or speak to them and when i did talk to them they seemed happy to hear from me. The only thing is that I asked them if we could get together and they said they would get back to me and have not..So I'm wondering is it a good idea to call and ask or just not even bother?

He did live in Mesquite, Texas at one time. He was born in Oklahoma, Still Water I think. He was born in 1974, I think May the 15th but I'm not sure. My mothers name is Misty. He meet her in Balch Springs, Tx. He was in and out of my life until I was about 6. Then he was just gone. I hear he has 2 other children also. my mother has mentally and physically tortured me all my life, she gets joy out of my misery, she is extremely critical and jealous, I've tried to keep a superficial relationship with her in the past but she constant put me down, such as ''you are ugly'' or ''you deserve to be beaten when you were small'', she even said things like ''the only reason your boyfriend loves you is because he is sick, otherwise he would never date you''. after all the verbal put down, 7 months ago i decided to cut her off completely, i've changed my phone number and stopped calling her or visiting her, last night she knocks on my door un-announced. i told my boyfriend to answer the door and let her know that she is not welcome at my home, she was very shocked and went home, is what i am doing ok?

HI yahoo!Well today was bad.I woke up to my mom calling me a ***** and the she and my dad forgot my birthday.I didn't say anything so its about 1:00pm and suddenly my mom remembers that its my birthday.So she comes in my room and tears up my posters telling me.You stupid ***** why didn't you tell me it was your birthday!She comes back at 2:00 pm saying shes sorry(not).Then they drive to a restraunt that I didn't even want to go to.when we got there they started arguing about what we were going to get.After about 30 minutes of this I just vomited all over the table.They left and made me walk home 2 miles.When I got home they told me I should have never been born and that I was a stupid Satanic,Demonic,mean *****.Right now I'm contemplating what I should do. (A)kill myself(B)run away. oh and I dont dare call child protection servie people(happened before and my parents twisted it around saying I was the one that was crazy)So,People of yahoo ,What should I do eh?

Hi I'm in need of other peoples opinions in my current situation. I'm 25, have a "good" job(with no benefits), a beutiful 3yr old daughter, another baby on the way in 3 months, and a house. So I am in a better situation then some people. ok...question...I am thinking of joining the ARMY for more reasons than 1, for my family(benefits), for myself(because i've basically done absolutly nothing with my life), and also if sucessful completion of service(dont die) my little ones can have a father to look up to not just a dead beat dad thats content with nothing. I have spoke with recruiters and the ARMY is the only one who will accept me(due to the fact that the only thing i did do in my life was get in trouble)but that part of me i have chose to defeat. I do understand that I'll probaly have to leave my family for a while and miss a little of these importat times in their lives but im doing this for them. In that away time I want to take advantage of it and get a degree under my belt. HELP
