Number one thing to do is to establish a safe life and a safe environment for your children. And then after this is established, you will probably have to apply for some sort of custody agreement or visitation rights. You need to do some hard work to discover all your rights and responsibilities from an actual agency who specializes in this kind of situation. There should be one or a few in your area. Three years is a long time. Be prepared to share where you've been that whole time and what you've been doing. The best thing to do is to be honest and prove your true intention - if in fact you just want to be with your children and take care of them, this process should be easy. But if there are other factors involved, these might serve as obstacles for you. Prepare yourself to prove your worthiness as a parent, to the agency and to your adoptive parents. Good luck!
Sincerely,
Angel

Well you would have to prove to Family Services that you are financially and emoitionally able to take care of your children. You don't say why your children were taken but I would suggest you take a course in parenting, and take this aswell as any other documentation to the court to prove you are capable and earning a salary. If you can't afford a lawyer - go see Legal Aid, they should beable to help you. Good Luck in the future and I really hope you get your kids back!!!

A determine won't be able to lose custody in basic terms for that, however the non-custodial determine *can* bypass to courtroom and declare that the mummy and the step dad are alienating the newborn from him and use that as data. If the choose got here upon that the newborn became being alienated from their father, many judges might supply him custody offering that he does not alienate the mummy. this is not the regulation in step with se, yet is extra of a regular prepare between judges-if one determine is placing apart/alienating the newborn from the different determine, the alienated determine will frequently have a case to get custody. needless to say, if the newborn is selecting to call the step dad "daddy" and is not be coeirced, manipulated, or compelled to realize this then the non-custodial determine does not have a lot of a case for alienation. even although, if the choose believed that to be a smaller symptom of a much bigger development of alienation (does the mummy/step father intervene interior the dad's visitation? and so on.) then he might have a shot at custody. It quite often relies upon on the choose.

You're going to have to get a public attorney..if you can. You're also going to have to prove that you can care for your child..and that whatever problems you had at the time of the adoption are resolved.
