I'm 16 years old and 5'9. I've been modeling for a little over a year on and off. I've gone to NYC a few times, but now I have a chance to move there. I live in Arizona so if I move I have to leave everything behind and only my mom would go with me cause my dad would have to stay and work and take care of my brother. I want to go, but I'm not sure if I should. Should I model?

My dad has just split up with his girlfriend and i'm really secretly pleased. I have tried so hard to get on with her but she hates me and doesnt like me speaking to him.
I only met him a few years ago and we had a really great relationship he was seeing her then and they split up and she blames me. they got back together but would check his phone to see if he'd text or rung me or his other daughter (who he brought up) she is obsessed. I have spoken to her on several occasions about the situation but she says she has no problem. i know however this is not true because he tells me she gets in a strop if he mentions my name she is now taking it out on my sister as well but neither of us have done anything wrong apart from wanting to have contact with our father.
Am i horrible for being pleased they have broken up and if they get back together what do i do?

please help... this may be long but i really need help

my parents are getting a divorce. i love them both very much and i dont know who to go with. im what you can call a daddys girl.... but hes sometimes over protective and overbearing. i writing this in tears. i just told my dad that i want to go with my mum. shes moving to wisconsin which is where all like 50 of my cousins live and i have more job oppurtunities there as well. my dad just came back in my room asking why. i can tell ive just hurt him more deeply than anyone else. he plans on moving into a really small house with my baby brother while my mum is leaving with my baby sis. this town has nothing for me. im so confused. my mum offers me a nice home, freedom to do what i want, and the comfort of my whole family... well everyone except my dad and brother. please help.... any advice will be greatly appreciated.

If you have read my recent questions.. you will understand. In a nutshell my brother and his wife leave there daughter at my mom's house so she can take care of my niece. His excuse is his wife is tired and cannot take care of there daughter..his wife does not work, she just stays home. My mom tells him she is tired too.. for good reason (she works nights and isnt able to get good rest because she is taking care of my niece).. My niece broke her glasses which she needs to wear at all times..this was about 2 months ago.. still no new glasses..even her school teacher has had a conference with my mom because she needs her glasses, she cannot see. Anyway my mom asked if I could talk some sense into him, make him see what he is doing to his child by neglecting her..make him see that his mother cannot continue doing this and his wife needs to step up, be a parent. How can I go about doing this without sounding like a b****? We're not close so having a conversation will be a first

i cant seem to get the straight A's my dad want the best i can do is A's B's and C's i thin there good grades but all he seems to see is no straight A's, bad grades he says im not trying, i used to get straight A's in elementary, but now i cant, its to hard any advice with what i can do about my dad?

I have a friend who's mother can't support her and doesn't want to. Her father is in jail. She lives with her grandmother who is abusive to her. She has to go live in a group home now.

Now about me. I live with my mother. My father lives with me too but he is kind of mean. I also have a sister who is 12 and a brother who is 20 that should be going to the marines soon. That will open up his bedroom.

I asked my mother if my friend could live in my brother's room because he will be leaving. My mother said no. I really think she could benefit from living in a nice neighborhood with someone who cares about her (me). It just makes me mad that my parents would just refuse to let her come live with us. I mean, I'm the kind of person that, if i see someone in need I'll help them and do anything I can.

we been together for 9 yrs,married only 1.we got 2 kids.i put on 40 lbs in the past year and i feel my husband is not attreacted anymore.im not really overweight but i feel very big coming up from 115-120.he says i look fine and it doesnt bother him but do u married men really care if ur wife puts on weight?would u look else where?i dont think my husband would.and for wifeys or would u even care or be bothered by the weight gain?im 27 yrs old and somtimes i feel like i dont even want to try to lose the weight cuz im getting older anyway.but i am currently dieting and hoping to lose at least 20.what do yall think

Well, among many problems in my household right now; my parents are fully against this guy I'm in a relationship in. I mean - completely - against it. Because he's older than me and has kids. If it doesn't bother me - and believe me, I've really thought hard about this - it shouldn't bother them. Now including my personal life in my household, I find it absolutely impossible to stand it here anymore. I don't think they realize how serious he and I are, or how close I am to really moving out. I'll be 18 when I move out, and I am in high school. I'll still continue high school, he wants me to go to college even though I'd rather not :( so my main question is what everyone's input is and can my parents do anything to either of us if I move out? my family,my aunt and uncle don't talk to my mum and dad.they made up with me but not my parents last september.since then they have tried to brainwash me and tell me lies about my parents.they are also smothering and presssurising me which i don't need as i have been seriously ill of late.
i want to forget them and get on with the people who have brought me up for 21 years but i think bad things will happen to me as i am hurting them.but they say 'they are my parens too' and are spreading lies upon lies about my own mother.
what do i do?

I'm 14 and my mom watches me like a hawk. She seriously drives me insane - she has to have a say in just about every aspect of my life. She gets to deciede what I'm allowed to wear and not wear (she says 'no' to the dumbest things, like sandals with heals and halter tops), tells me I should eat more even when I'm full, tells me my brother can't take me out shopping even thouh he has his driver's liscense, and tries to tell me everything I should in basketball (I'm on the school team) even though she's never played basketball before! But when I tell her to back off, she gets angry and says I can't "talk to her like that". How the heck ca I make her realize she can't completely control me without getting her mad at me?!?!

My names Matt, and I am 16 years old. I was adopted by my grandmother when I was about 4 years old. My father was an alcoholic and my mother was really bad into drugs, so therefore my grandmother took me in. I lived in PA for a long time, then about 2 years ago, she moved me down here to Tennessee. I hate this place with a passion. I've been talking to my Dad, and I have decided that I want to move in with him in PA. Well, my grandmother doesn't care for the idea, but she agreed. Then, a few days ago, spazzed out and said no and gave me a huge lecture. I still want to live there, reguardless. So if anyone has any information on where I want to live and who I want to live with, please help. Is there any legal actions to be taken that will help me out? Please, someone help me out, I don't really have anyone to really talk to about all this, so any suggestions or input would be incredible. Thank you.

But, most of the time I like doing things with them. Most of my friends HATE spending time with their parents. first of all id like to say that i am off a marijuana addiction for a week. it was fairly easy to stop and i haven't looked back at the drug since. but unlucky for me, a day after i had stopped my mom found my paraphelia, and i told her the truth but i also explained that i had stopped. ever since then she's been giving me lectures every single day. she also calls my phone constantly to check up on what im doing. i am now going to the gym and doing more productive things but that isnt enough for her. she obviously thinks that marijuana is highly addictive and extremely worried that i will come back to it. i seriously think that she is being too over reactive, because during lectures she would look extremely depressed, saying things like how she cant sleep at night, even going on her knees and begging me to tell her the truth. it makes me angry because she is now accusing me of something that i am not doing.yes i did make a mistake,but we have to move on with our lives.i am 17 years old

It started when she was 16 and she blames me for her dad not giving her more money. She sent her dad a college graduation invitation leaving me out. Now her whole family rallys around her. Her brother sent his dad a christmas card and didn't even put my name on it like he normally does. This hatred (their words) has spilled over to my husbands brother and sister in law. She was cremated and sent to Arlington National Cemetary to be burried with my dad. Everything was prearranged and her wishes were not to have a service of any kind just direct cremation and burial. My sister and I want to abide by these wishes but her only surviving sister wants a service and expects my sister and I to have one. We are being torn in different directions over this.
