Call your red cross, newsboys, and check out alot of your churches.I know that churches will help u with shut off notices. Plus I go once a month for food at my church. Thats all of them that I know.Everyone has hardships and the way this country is being run there is going to be alot more. So good luck and I hope u get the help u need.Oh plus call your social services and apply there. Social services where put there for people that have had hardships. So use it. I did 5 years ago.

Call all of your creditors and explain your situation to them so they will not ring your phone off the hook.

Contact United Way they have many resources that could help you. Talk to the Patients Relationship person at the hospital. When I had surgery I could not pay my 20% upon check out. She helped me to set up a payment plan where I paid a flat amount per month. I promised that I would pay off the balance within one year; and I paid it off in eight months.

Food--contact the churches in your area to see if they have a Food Pantry. Go to the day old bakery for your bread items. Cook meals that will go along way, make soups, casserole dishes. Forget the expensive snack foods, and eating out.

Look around your house and ask yourself what can you go without for two months; cable service, gardener, delivery service, hair salon, nail salon, barber, etc.

Once you are down it takes time to get back on your feet.

The links below will give you allots of budget saving ideas.
